This is a really good hotel in every way the accommodation is clean spacious and luxurious the food excellent and the service is to be commended.
The web site has a picture of the jacuzzi pool with a female swimming in it this is not realistic. The pool is far too small to swim and the picture must have been of a small girl. The 20 Euro charge for the spa is to much and many of the guests were disappointed as they had also brought swimming costumes as we had.
The room included a fridge in which two small bottles of water were provided each day. A good size safe was located in the wardrobe, both provided at no extra charge. Our room included a Jacuzzi bath with shower.
The hotel is located in the very interesting the old town with many places to visit including church, baptistery lovely and cool in the hot weather, ceramic manufacturers restaurants and bars.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, which could only be improved by the provision of bath mats.

Room tip: Ask for a room with Jacuzzi bath.

We stayed here for four nights and sorry it wasn't for longer. From the friendly welcome onwards there was good service throughout our stay.
The room was spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Lots of storage (including plenty of hangars), a great bathroom (with two sinks) and an enormous and very comfortable bed.
Breakfast comprised a wide range of choices and was very tasty. Dinner options were chosen the night before - by no means uncommon in Italy - and the food was of a good standard. Prices in the bar were good but prices in the few bars in the town were even cheaper.
The hotel really is well situated for touring many of the wonderful places in Tuscany and Colle Di Val d'Elsa is well worth exploring. Lots of history and the ceramic shop was great.

This hotel has large, clean rooms, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds! It is also in a quiet street in an ancient old Italian hill town, so it is quiet at night and good if you have had a hectic time and want a rest. There is a lively cocktail bar at street level, a Spa and the Restaurant food is good. We stayed after a few hectic days in Florence and it was nice and peaceful in Colle di Val d'Elsa

This is a very nice clean hotel but the dinners are not very good. Nice American style breakfast, but I recommend that you dine at a near by restaurant for dinner. They also charge you to use the pool as it is part of their spa.

Room tip: No views to choose from. Some rooms have a bath tub

We spent a wonderful night in the Palazzo San Lorenzo. The rooms were excellent, the spa was very luxurious and the staff really helpful. The hotel is located in the old part of the City and situated by the city wall so very convenient.

Room tip: They are all good
