This narrow street crosses the Marais and provides rare cross-town traffic, including a bus line. On both sides are unique shops, some set back in courtyards. Lots of cafes, restaurants and historic buildings. The best of the Marais.

Love this street, great people watching, many shops. this is one of the main streets that leads into the marais from the west. Streets are closed to cars on sunday so that is the best day, even better when sunny.

Great street to walk on a Sunday as it has many open shops, lots of people walking about and sometimes some entertainment. Today there was a jazz band playing. The musicians were very good and it attracted a lot of people. The street also has beautiful buildings. This is a great area in Paris.

Now one of Paris's most exclusive shopping areas and super-popular, so much so that the crowds spill off the sidewalks and block one of the few cross-town streets in the Marais. Cafes and restaurants.

A friend and I headed over to Le Marais for an afternoon of shopping/browsing. They do have some wonderful boutiques on Rue des Francs Bourqeois to spend some money in. Our afternoon was cut short due to rain, but I would go back again.
