My wife andI i on a trip to London for a show found this excellent old style pub near Covent garden. The service was very good with wholesome food including home made pies. The prices were very reasonable, avoid eating at Covent garden, you will not be disappointed with this pub. Good selection of ales and old fashioned atmosphere.
Attentive staff, good food and choice of drinks, half way between Holborn and Covent Garden. Great for theatre pre-drinks or just chilling.
Our First visit to this fine old London Pub , great atmosphere wide range of beers & lagers , unfortunately there was no Elder flower tonic for the Gin, had to settle for slimline tonic . Food Menu was extensive & reasonably priced , Good service
I recently visited for a reunion of old colleagues and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices, which I thought would be much higher in London. The staff were very friendly . It was very busy that day but we did not to wait long for our food. I would defiantly go there again.
Popped in here for a quick pub lunch whilst visiting London for the day doing some touristy things, prices of food good and a wide range of pub food including specials, we can highly recommend the curry that also came with poppadoms, it was very tasty. Traditional pub setting , this is our second visit here and again good value.
Popped in for a pint and to catch a bit of football whilst waiting for a friend. Nice busy, but friendly bar. Mixture of tourists and locals. The sound on the TV's wasn't loud enough in my opinion but I guess not everyone was there for the football.
