Firstly can I say on first impressions the hotel appeared to be lovely. Gorgeous reception area, and the rooms are lovely although a couple of minor gripes such as the wardrobe is not long enough to hang dresses up unless they are folded over, and no drawers, also no information pack in room we were left to find everything ourselves. Now the food........well, this has been very poor and certainly not up to a 4/5* standard, luke warm food, not labelled floating in oil, not good and definitely not catered towards brits. Couldn't even get a glass of orange at breakfast. The food is not pleasant and the only saving grace is the snack restaurant at lunchtime that cooks great hot food, and that is the only decent meal we have had. Normally this is not a major issue as we would go out to eat but there is nothing and I mean nothing nearby, the only option is to catch the bus into kudadasi which is about 20 minutes or so which we have had to do. The bar staff seem to spend more time looking at their mobile phones than serving which is pretty unprofessional, that's if there is actually anyone on the bar which is usually the case on the reception bar. The entertainment has been lacking and has not been any professional shows just bingo, and karaoke by the entertainment team. A big shout out to the girls in the coffee shop, always pleasant and lovely coffee. Would we return, no!!!
