A modern upgraded "farmhouse" located 12 klm outside of Prata and the surrounding factories. A great stop if on business in the area due to proximity (with a car) to restaurants Prato & 45 minutes into Florence. Modern in every way, friendly helpful team and a great pool and cabana if you visit summertime. Nice restaurant with modern Italian options. Only negatives: no English News channels and no laundry. Recommended.

We experienced a terrible unprofessional service and restaurant management. The owner rudely insisted we pay 75€ for a steak which we struggled eating as most of it was a bone, and the little piece of meat on it was very tough and chewy. After complaining, the waitress took away the portion but still. to our surprise, charged it on the bill, even though we ordered an alternative dish and was charged for it too!! She didn’t at any stage apologize for our inconvenience nor clarified that we will have to pay for the steak although we didn’t eat it. If she did, we would definitely not order an alternative dish, but would kindly ask of her to pack the leftovers for the dogs, pay the bill, and leave to another restaurant. However, she didn’t! And so eventually we happened to pay the full amount of the meal (160€ )!! The hostess unbelievably suggested that next time we must ask to taste the steak before we order it!! 😳Never heard such a thing!! A respectable restaurant which offers a 54€ steak on its menu, should serve a high quality meat!! There’s obviously not going to be a next time!! Shocking management, average food. Definitely not recommended!

Stayed here for a week. Impeccably kept gardens, pool and rooms. Incredibly friendly owners who are perfectionists and every member of staff was delightfully friendly and couldn't do enough for my partner and I and our 3 month old baby. We felt like one of the family! The restaurant served lovely food; all grown locally or using produce from the very gardens themselves. 2 very minor feedback points are that it was quite expensive, but Tuscany just is. And the pool was busy at the weekend when more non residents come for the day. But it was a crazy hot weekend during our stay so who can blame the locals?! They were all very friendly too so we still had a wonderful time.

Warm, beautiful and transcending. Owners and staff treat you with love as if you are family. Perfect ending to our three week holiday in Italy, our favorite. A must when visiting, plenty to do nearby for the adventurer.

What a lovely place. We came here for lunch and a swim. I had tortellini stuffed with fresh cheese in a pesto sauce. Whoa. My mouth exploded!!!! Secondi -rabbit slow cooked for 36 hours and served with crispy skin and crisped basil. The pool is lovely. Nice and cool with a gorgeous view. Perfect if you need a bit of a break from all the glorious traveling around Italy!

I guess that the majority of guests are used to visit La Casa di Rodo and they do not arrive here by chance ! The location is amazing : gentle rolling hills covered with olive trees, an old farmhouse carefully restored, a beautiful swimming pool, enchanting peacocks in a fairytale setting. We visited the restaurant for lunch. Very nice informal interiors country style where you feel immediately at ease. The owner is always there to make sure everything goes well; staff very welcoming and helpful. All food was very tasty: as starter I had genuine cold cuts, slim bowel cooked superbly and a precious vegetable pie. And then to follow deboned guinea fowl with vegetables of the garden. Olive oil of the house of course. As a pleasure of the senses a unique dessert: a small warm cake with dark chocolate. Wine ? Here is the land of Carmignano ... cannot go for another wine !

We spent two nights with the wonderful people at La Casa di Rodo. They were great hosts, making our time there magical. We renewed our vows in a chapel on a local estate and then celebrated with a special meal prepared by the chefs at Rodo. We will always treasure those moments!

We found this place to be the high lite of our 1 month tour in Europe. We arrived to a very friendly and accommodating staff of people that soon made us feel like we were at home and not on vacation. the " Silvano" owner even help to take our bags up to our room. What a place, beautiful pool and grounds that go on for ever. The food was amazing and relaxing was to die for. Not to far from Florence and very quite but easy to get to. we give this place more than five stars...... Good Luck Silvano and long live Casa di Rodo!!!!!!!!!!!! Caio

We have just spent 2 nights at Casa di Rodo and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It is a stunning place and has been decorated beautifully with great care. The staff are extremely pleasant and laid back, the food and wine is great and the setting is fabulous. It has more of a boutique hotel feel than a B&B and the restaurant (open for lunch and dinner) adds to the atmosphere and is obviously a favourite for local Italians. Our rooms were immaculate and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the studio with our two boys aged 7 and 9 and it worked really well. We will definitely be returning, hopefully for longer next time!
