Very nice hotel, beautiful area, quite environment. Rooms, staff, breakfast, cleanliness, spa are excellent. We had half board, dinner was a bit strange. It was not local, a it tried to be international but quality was not so high level.

Great experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. The Golf course is beautiful and in good shape. I will recommend the resort to my friends. It is also easy to get to the top of mount Etna from there.

The hotel is situated in a nice natural landscape. Unfortunately the service is absolutely weak. The access to the pool inside is only possible after paying the spa. If you register for the visit and cancel like 20 min later- they book you the full day. I was offered a special price abo, but it was not informed about any rules of use, spa was overbooked all the days and I could not use the abo and basically had to overpay twice. Never experienced such a poor customer service. Personal even impolite. Not flexible or guest oriented. I described my issues- ladies at the reception were zero interested to solve. The restaurant is not oriented on people with food restrictions. Is basically almost not possible to avoid gluten or sugar even upon request. Got big issues after a week stay as could not follow my diet. Really pity- the nature surrounding is very nice. But the stuff is just following some rules, stricter then in a governmental organization not communicating them properly and oriented zero on the customer comfort.

Dear Ms. Kofman, First of all, we want to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sincerely sorry for the disappointing experience you had during your stay. But at the same time, we are very surprised by your review because it is really far from the reality, mostly the comments about our staff, which is made of professionals trained on customer service. Contrary to what you report, we tried to do our best to make your experience satisfactory and find a solution to your discontent in line with our management guidelines. But none of our efforts to negotiate seemed to be enough. You made your reservation via booking.com and as you could clearly read in the booking details, access to the spa was not included. Although the fact that the Spa access had an additional charge was clearly indicated on the description of the services, we still offered you a spa access package at a discounted price, asking you to sign a bill where the cancellation policies were unquestionably clear. Regarding the restaurant and dietary restrictions, we apologize for any difficulties you encountered. We understand the importance of catering to various dietary needs, and we will work to improve our communication and options for guests with specific food requirements. Despite the issues you raised about your stay, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future with an improved experience. Kind regards

Remotely situated this nice golf hotel. Classic room in the hotel, the nicer modern rooms in the clubhouse. Free parking, nice staff at reception. Room has all amenities, spacious, nice bed, shower that dit not really give hot water, but it was ok. Suggest you book half board, as there are no restaurants close, and you do not want to drive here at night. Dinner was good, again nice staff, enough choices, in a large restaurant with no vibe. Breakfast also good, lots of choice. They also have a spa, which we did not visit. Bar is next to the lobby, lacks a vibe too. If you drive to this resort from Cefalù be prepared for a difficult ride. Very narrow road for about 70 km after you exit the highway and difficult even with Google maps to find the right direction. Do not drive in the dark! From the east much easier, but stil a drive.

The golf course is superb, tight at times but a beautiful course to play. The staff were brilliant and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was a continental one. The evening meals were excellent.

Spent a week here in September on a group golf holiday. The outstanding thing about this resort is the staff who cannot do enough to help you and make you welcome, both in the main hotel and the golf club. If you are looking for faceless 5 star luxury then this is not for you, it’s a little quirky and lacks things you might take for granted elsewhere like kettles/irons in the rooms but it is very comfortable and we had a fabulous stay. Lovely pool area. My only regret was not hiring a car at the airport as it is quite far from anything and I would have liked to have seen more of Sicily! Note for golfers - bring lots of balls as it’s very narrow!!🤣

Outdated and remote. We were allocated this hotel as part of a fly-drive holiday. We don’t play golf so felt a little outnumbered! Room basic, old fashioned but very clean. Staff helpful, especially at pool bar. Very remote and no taxis, had to book a transfer to nearest town for a restaurant which cost €60 for 20 minute round trip. Also kept waiting.

Dear Mrs Kelly, Thanks for your review! In truth we think you should send it to the tour operator/agency that took care of your booking. Our resort is ideal for people with their own car who are searching for relax and obviously play golf. In your case we think that your agency should have booked an hotel nearby the seaside. Best Regards The Management

Second time round but an unpleasant one. We are currently at the resort for my birthday weekend. This is our second time here as the first time was a lovely stay, however this time round has poor hospitality. Yesterday we had check in. The room is very specious and clean however I couldn’t help to notice that the bath tub had no plug to have a bath in. Today I made contact with the receptionist to have my bath tub fixed..had no idea that you would need to call the reception in a 5 star resort in order to have a bath 🤷‍♀️ Furthermore, today it was rain heavily around Sicily and we had to cut short on our trip to return back to the resort due to bad visibility and weather. On our arrival to the hotel, we parked our car close to the entrance rather than in the parking area as not to get soaking wet. No shielded passageway is provided at the hotel from the parking to the entrance. As we entered the front door, we were scolded by the receptionist as not to park close to the front door due to “ having special guests today” as if I won’t be paying my stay as well…a disastrous state of hospitality I must say. Last but not least, I was pampered by my finance at the spa by a body massage, which was excellent however to be ruined once exiting the spa. I asked if I can unwind after my massage at the indoor pool only to be informed that I am not able to use the spa facilities as we had booked through booking.com (which by the way, was the only option we had in order to book at the resort) Thanks for ruining my birthday weekend. Unfortunately there won’t be a third time visit here. Regards, Joanna Cini BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, MSc Rehabilitation Studies (Strath)

We stayed for a week here, golfing and chilling by the pool. Pool is excellent, lots of loungers, snack bar (sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc), large pool towels provided. Dining (we had half board) was good. Service was excellent - all of the staff were really professional and helpful, special shout out to two in particular, namely Antonio and Giuseppe. Breakfast offerings could improved - it wouldn't be very difficult to have an omelette station, and berries and nuts would be a good addition (there were sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds however, which was nice). The croissants were gorgeous! We golfed twice and the course, change rooms, staff and facilities were great. I have no complaints about this resort at all - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. I disagree with a previous review that the hotel was in "poor condition" - it was in very good condition, with a few minor things needing updating, which that I am sure will be changed as the new management works on it.

Dear Guest, Fistly we would like to thank you for your review and for having shared with us your impressions. Our staff is one of our main strengths and they try to make our guests feel at home everytime. Additionally our resort changed the ownerhip in February and we started renovating the whole property and improve our services. WE took into consideration your advice in regard to the breakfast and decide to extend our offer, At the beginning of the year, the new company decided to invest in our golf course since we aimed to become the best golf course in the South Italy in 2-3 years. We are really happy that you enjoyed our golf club house and hope that you will be able to join us again soon. All the best The Management
