Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It is off a major road and close to an industrial park. It is nowhere near the sea or town without a car you are stuck here. The owners are a brother and sister team. He is incredibly rude, openly argumentative and has no idea whatsoever about the hospitality business. He shouts at guests and stands guard over the meagre breakfast offerings to ensure no one takes more than one croissant! Below in other reviews someone said breakfast was a feast that is a lie unless he is writing his own reviews. Only cheap processed croissants, some mushy fruit and crackers offered. No eggs, cheese or ham, for those who do not want a sugar overload at breakfast- typical continental breakfast selection nowhere to be seen. When I asked for a boiled egg or cheese was told they couldn’t do it as short staffed, on day 2 when same rubbish was offered was told too bad eat what is here! We waited more than 15 mins for coffee and when I asked a third time for it was told to go get it myself from the bar which happens to be on the furthest point of the hotel away from the Dining room. Joke is no toilet paper in rooms had to go ask for some at reception and on the second day again go ask for it at reception where it is kept (see photo). Lightbulbs blown and told couldn’t be replaced as no one available to do it so we asked for a bulb and did it ourselves. Pool is unclean and slimy and you access it by a gravel dirt track. We paid a premium £618 euros for 2 nights and felt it would have been a rip off at £50 euro a night for the discourteous, rude service and very poor facilities. There are only 3 or 4 staff trying to run the place and despite their best efforts are unable to meet demands of guest service. We will be taking this up with Booking.com and seeking a refund as we did not receive the service we paid for.
