In front of the sea, the Davia hotel is located at the heart of the "Balagne" (north part of the island). Overlooking the white sand beaches of "Ghjunchitu" and "Bodri", it is situated close to the wildest creeks from the historic district of "la Marina de Davia", municipality of Corbara. When you enter the groomed environment of the Davia hotel, you will be struck and literally, under the spell, of the Mediterranean style interior and exterior decoration as well as its gardens. Perfectly situated at the doorstep of "L'ile Rousse" center, our guests can enjoy the tranquility of the sea without staying far away from town. Its exceptional panoramic overview to the Mediterranean Sea offers our guests a beautiful moment of pleasure and relaxation. The hotel is open from November to April.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel's Favourite
One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Beautifully designed and maintained, with extremely helpful and hospitable staff who did everything to make of stay easy and enjoyable. Delicious breakfast, lovely views and a welcoming swimming pool, easy 15 min walk to the beach on a secret footpath through the hills. We will be back!

We stayed here last week for 3 nights after our other accommodation fell through. The rooms are modern and clean and of a reasonable size - all face the sea. The staff are always warm and helpful. Breakfasts are extra and, although a little pricey, were a wonderful start to the day. I would thoroughly recommend.

What could be better that this beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. First, the people are amazing, hospitality is first in this hotel. Always helpful, trying hard to understand our broken franglais and giving excellent advice. Viviane is the queen! Then the hotel accommodations are spacious, immaculate and stylish without being crazy. Only crazy thing is the forever pool with an ocean view!! And I should not forget breakfast. It’s the best, the people at the hotel buy great local food and the staff cooks some amazing pastries. Please, I want to stay forever, why do I need to go home? PS location is perfect for North Corsica, we visited many incredible little towns, check out Lama and Pigna, nearby and great for lunch.

Just spent an amazing week at Hotel Davia, all the staff were extremely helpful with a special mention for Vladimir. He couldn't have been more attentive. All 16 rooms face the sea with either terrace on the ground floor or balcony on the first. Rooms are clean and bright and are serviced daily.Breakfast is ample either buffet for continental. Heated pool with loads of space and sunbeds. Although the main town is only a 25 minute walk away to many great restaurants it is advisable to hire a car if possible. There are many fabulous beaches and villages nearby that can easily be reached by car. We enjoyed our week so much returning is not in question. Thanks again to everyone at Hotel Davia. Debra & Jeff Heller.

The location might not be perfect, approx 1,5 km to the town square and bars and restaurants, but that is the only slight attention point. The hotel breathes calm, with very clean and beautiful rooms. Every room has a small balcony or terrace, looking out over the sea (enjoy great sunsets). Staff is super friendly, going out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. For example we were asked if we were going to the beach when going out on the first day because in that case they had parasols etc which we could have borrowed. There is a nice swimming pool, with sufficient beds to enjoy. The towels can be borrowed from the reception. Breakfast has two options, buffet style and continental. We choose the buffet style, plenty to choose from. All in all, excellent hotel. Great value for money. Really recommended.

How can we sum up such a wonderful experience. Hotel Davia was the perfect end to a fabulous trip to Corsica. David and his team made us feel at home from moment one. They bent over backwards trying to make us happy. The location of the hotel is fantastic for exploring this region. It is actually better than staying in town but you definitely need a car. We can’t wait to visit this special place again in the future. Corsica now has a very special place in our hearts!

We booked our first hotel in Corsica, with low expectations and mainly to explore the area. But Hotel Davia is much more:,a nice designed modern boutique hotel and better than most 4 star hotels. We stayed 3 nights, very nice room with sea view, garden and nice pool. Very quite, delicious breakfast and lovely staf.

This was an ideal place from which my wife and I were able to explore the Island with a short 7-day break. The Hotel is a great place; extremely well-appointed with a `warm' swimming pool, ample sunbeds if you are so inclined and separate swimming towels (large) available on the exchange of a hotel token. Our balcony room had wonderful views and was serviced very well by the staff with clean towels everyday. In fact the whole staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful, friendly and efficient from the Reception staff right through the housekeeping and breakfast dining area staff. Breakfast dining, either in or out, was especially good and set you up for the day. Advice from the Reception Staff was very useful, particularly about where to dine in Ile Rousse and help with the car hire when I needed to change it. A local Corsican speaking in his native language makes the point so much better than I could. A hire car for us was a `must' because we want to explore rather than sit on beaches, and the Corsican mountains are majestic if challenging...the first car was a Fiesta and was just not up to it, the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo was so much better. Only breakfast is served, and so to eat in the evenings, you have to walk or drive 1.5-2 km into the town. The local Corsican restaurant just opposite the Hotel Davia sadly closed about a year ago and so there is little local eating. A great hotel, fantastic service and views and good security both for the hotel and car park. We would definitely return to Corsica and to this hotel. It suited us perfectly and the batteries were re-charged.
