Experience Warm Hospitality at San Francisco's Union Street Inn. The Union Street Inn Bed and Breakfast combines the elegance and gentility of an Edwardian home. Rooms are spacious, airy and comfortable. Open your window and the fragrance of old roses, lavender, sage and rosemary wafts up from the romantic cottage garden - a delightful spot to enjoy an inviting breakfast or afternoon tea.

The Union Street Inn was a wedding gift for a newly wed couple. They thoroughly enjoyed this stay and visit to the various sights in San Francisco and neighboring vicinities. The daily breakfast was bountiful and wonderful! The bed was very comfortable making the five day stay a very restful one! All of the staff at the Union Street Inn were very hospitable and personable! It certainly was an ideal location to conveniently walk to any of the neighboring areas of San Francisco! What a wonderful way to round out our US tour before returning to Australia!

This is our go-to place in SF! It is such a lovely inn. It is decorated beautifully with a unique charm you cant find in many places. There are spacious rooms and a lovely garden. Timm is a delight to talk to and creates masterpieces for breakfast which include a fruit salad, muffins, banana bread, and a lovely egg dish or sweet. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available all the time. The location is perfect, allowing for walks to multiple areas of interest. We can't wait until we return!

This oasis was the most wonderful find. It is in a great area to access about 30 minutes from the international airport by taxi. It is peaceful in its location despite the lively neighbourhood adorned with cafes, restaurants, and good shopping a short walk away. Easy access to bus routes into downtown San Francisco. This bed and breakfast accommodation is spotless, the bed comfortable, coffee, tea, fresh fruit and sweet snacks available 24 hours a day, breakfast varied each day with fresh fruit included. The staff were charming, welcoming and extremely helpful in planning our sightseeing. We will return as soon as we can.

I love going back to my favorite place! The delicious home made breakfast is the best around, the Inn is right in the perfect location, and they have such a lovely staff! The old San Francisco Victorian architecture is beautiful and sets a great vibe.

As visitors from NC, we got this recommendation from a San Francisco resident. Out room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the garden beautiful and an oasis from the city. Everything we wanted to see was a short Uber ride away. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I have stayed at Union Street Inn before and loved it, so we definitely wanted to return. We had just spent Thanksgiving with daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren and we were exhausted. Union Street Inn is so cozy and comfortable, we were able to rest up and recharge before our long flight home the next day. Owen’s breakfast is marvelous! I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will stay here again the next time we’re in SF.

What a truly fantastic inn! Helen & her team were amazing hosts to my parents who stayed there for a week in November. My parents stayed in the New Yorker room (ground floor) and loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and very well appointed. They loved the breakfasts that were prepared for them every morning too. The inn also has a little coffee, tea, and fruit station that was lovely. My parents are quite picky and they really raved about their stay. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

What a lovely place to stay! We had the Wild Rose Room which was spacious and very comfortable. Even arriving late, access to the Inn and our room was so easy! The morning host, Chuck, was absolutely delightful! Very knowledgable about the city and surrounding areas and so pleasant to converse with. He makes a mean omelette as well! The Inn is very convenient for walking to excellent restaurants and fun shopping. We hight recommend!

The Union Street Inn is an oasis of calm and quiet, an urban sanctuary in an Edwardian house in a wonderful neighborhood in San Francisco. I have booked rooms for many friends and family members over the years but this was the first time I had stayed there myself. I stayed in the New Yorker room, a beautiful spacious room with a fabulously comfortable bed, a bathroom with shower and tub, a small table by the windows where I would have tea and write in the mornings. There is a lovely living room with sun streaming in where guests can can enjoy wonderful freshly made breakfasts, or a glass of wine later in the day. It feels like home. There’s a beautiful and fragrant garden off the living room, on the way to the Carriage House, where you can sit, relax, read. All of this, and the warm welcome you receive from Helen upon arrival, makes it the perfect home away from home. I loved my days there.…
