We booked a package holiday with Jet2. Excellent hotel, however we had to wait until 2pm to be able to check into our room. There is a secure luggage room where you can store your cases next to the indoor pool, but nowhere to change out of your travel clothes, unless you use the toilets. Our room was excellent with views of the pool, pool bar, Ferrari World rides and to the sea in the distance. The sea and strip are approximately a 15 minute walk away, depending on how fast you walk. Exit the hotel at the front, turn left out of the doors and turn left at the end of the road. Walk down the hill to the roundabout. At this roundabout are a couple of shops and bars. Turn right at the McDonalds sign to go to the seafront and straight on to go to the strip. The hotel - all staff helpful, courteous and polite. food is good and varied. Typical buffet style set up. It’s the same whatever your board basis is -B&B, half board or all inclusive. You can change your dinner for lunch if you’re half board, perfect if you want to go out for dinner. If you’re not AI then drinks are paid for during lunch or dinner. Hot drinks and juices are included at breakfast. Entertainment was not for us, a tribute act sings, not just dances to a backing track. There was mini disco every night and families with young children would enjoy the evening entertainment. We are a couple with a 15 year old so we went to the seafront and strip after dinner most nights, or we went out for dinner swapping for lunch on our HB basis a couple of times. Rooms are cleaned , beds made and towels changed every day. Pool and pool bar areas are good and tidied throughout the day. Pool was cold, but the kids were in it throughout the day. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it. It is a bit of a trek back up the hill from the strip and seafront if you’re not good walking, something to consider when booking. Taxi from the strip to the hotel cost 10 euros including tip.- taxi rank next to the fountain.

A large hotel which is in a good location for the shops, beach etc. the rooms could do with an update and don’t exactly resemble the photos (bedding, soft furnishings etc) We stayed in a suite which was at the back of the hotel and got no sun at all so we changed to a pool view suite which was much better. The food was ok, lots of fish, meat etc but limited options for kids. We stayed HB. The main problem with this hotel is that everything is extra. There was no tennis as advertised but we were offered some bats for another game at a cost of 16 euros. The outdoor pool was freezing so we enquired about the indoor pool, they charge for swimming caps which must be worn and also to use the facility so we were 18 euros for 2 to swim and use the steam and sauna rooms There is no drink included with evening meals for HB, not even a water. There is even a charge to weigh your suitcase in reception! Most of the staff are very nice and friendly. Overall the holiday was ok, we got a decent deal as October was a bit out of season but if I went in July or August and paid what the charge during those months, I would be extremely disappointed to say the least.

Very disappointed, stayed in better 3 star hotels. On arrival queue of people waiting to check in, one rude lady on reception. Most of the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. Rooms need upgrading, air conditioner and fridge didn’t work. Lots of young football teams staying there, they were badly behaved, climbing over balconies dive bombing in the pool, the restaurant was like a school canteen with these ill mannered kids pushing in front of people. Pool bar would not serve all inclusive guest food when the restaurant was open, so if you wanted a burger , you could not have one between 1 and 3 o’clock, unless you paid, as all inclusive you have already payed in advance. Food in restaurant was ok, labelling of the food was not very good. On the Friday evening we went to the restaurant for dinner, the restaurant had been cordoned off and people were queuing in the reception as there were no tables as all these football teams were there, dinner was 7.30 till 9.30, we went at 8.30, we gave up queuing and went out of the hotel with some other people to eat. Jet 2 staff were very friendly and helpful while travelling, but first package holiday I have booked with Jet 2, and not sure if I would book another, the hotel in no where near a four star, don’t know how they can rate this hotel as a four star. So glad I hadn’t taken my grandchildren there as there was not much there for them, and with youths running riot I don’t think it would have been safe.

Me and My partner booked this with jet2 back in June for October. The hotel its self is lovely and prime position for a walk to the beach and markets and a lovely walk to portaventura (If you're walking to portaventura from the hotel, don't follow Google maps up towards the portaventure hotel, keep walking up the road and it's on the right down some steps) There was always plenty of food and variety when we went to eat aswel as different plates on offer every night. The evening entertainment was hit and miss some were absolutely brilliant while others not so much but still enjoyable. Even on the all inclusive the drinks and food at the outside snack and drinks bar were amazing especially their milkshakes and vodka slushies. The pool is very cold first thing in the morning but once the sun is out and high in the sky its lovely, the deep end is great for jumping in and going under the water especially after a very tiring day at portaventure its nice to relax by the pool. The only negative I have is that check-in is at 2pm and we arrived at around 11am and waited around an hour and a half for our room to be ready, thankfully they have a secure room for your baggage in the basement and gave us our all inclusive bands so we could have food and drinks while we waited. Overall I would very much recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Stayed for 1 week. Excellent from start to finish. Hotel reception to cleaners to waiting staff to chefs fabulous. So friendly and helpful. From breakfast to lunch to dinner all excellent you will not go hungry in this hotel. Nice pool no problems with sun loungers if that's what you want. Hotel close to the Monday Market we loved walking around the town but the beach they say is 400 meters away, it is a long 400 meters. Wfi was free and very good. Rooms were good. We would go again.

Hotel not 4star as stated , clean when arrived but as the time went on through our 2 week stay cleaning was bare minimum, only friendly staff were at the snack bar. Food was 4 star food plenty to chose from. Not enough sockets for mobility scooters only 4 sockets in front of hotel and 7 scooters needing to be charged. Scooters not allowed inside hotel, WiFi was hit and miss. Our jet 2 rep was very helpful, a lovely Irish lady ,there 5 days of the week.

Had a brilliant flight out with Jet2, arrived at 11am pleased to find our rooms were ready.Easy check in, lady on reception was very polite.Rooms are ok.clean if a bit dated, no tea or coffee making facilities would have been a nice touch, rooms cleaned and fresh towels Daily, Food ok, had better and was always lukewarm, older gent on reception was so rude, he was always barking at people lost count how many times I heard him having a pop at some poor guest, definitely not 4* could do with a makeover as could most of the area.

First time abroad since being diagnosed with medical issue so picked this hotel having returned to salou for over 18 years, first impression is salou has not changed, hotel was clean and room cleaned every day with fresh towels restaurant food in general was good always managed to find something to eat, evening entertainment's was not good ,went all inclusive and was disappointed with drinks available especially non alcoholic choice, just one lager available (free Dom) which seemed to be available in most places in salou, beginning of week a football and basket ball team turned up but to be fair no shouting or running about late at night which was mentioned in some reviews, hotel could do with a freshen up I would say three star not 4,it was about 15mts walk to town centre and beach, only disappointment was we had to pay extra for seats because of availability on the plan only to be told I couldn't sit in the seat allocated to me and cabin crew had to go asking people to swop seats with me,this happened outbound and on return, yet there was three seats(with extra leg room at the very front of the plan that were empty, why? I don't know, but was not offered to change seating,to these vacant ones,it let jet 2 down a bit, because I always thought jet 2 was a very good transport provider, but hey ho it was what it was.
