Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My fifth time staying at the Regente, its location in the old town of Salou, close to the beach and lovely staff bring me back time and time again. Dianna at reception was excellent. Rooms were very clean and modern Heated pool on the roof is superb. see you again soon!

I don't even know where to start this review. all "no way". the fact that this is a 4 star hotel is out of the question! booked a suite. the room size is tiny as usual standard in a 4 star hotel. the woman who cleans the rooms constantly pounded on the door and demanded that we leave, as she does not have time to wait for us to leave, as she needs to leave🤦‍♀️ as a result, the room was not cleaned even once in 3 days. the pool is small, it smells strange and there are 2 sun loungers😂😂😂 there is not a single soul in the pool area. the hotel is positioned as a gastronome. breakfast is generally some kind of horror, photos are attached. there is no choice at all. 3-4 plates of an incomprehensible dish and that's it! before that we stayed at the Blaumar hotel, did not like it very much, friends advised me to try this one - the Blaumar result was very good 😂😂😂. of the pros: reception staff respond quickly, ready to help, close to the embankment, convenient parking

Good location to shops, beach & restaurants. The hotel itself was clean & pleasant. Breakfast was good selection. Beds are a little to hard so was fine for short visit but wouldn’t recommend for long period. The worst was having no control over air conditioning, I appreciate it is April but we should be able to control our own temperature & it was just hot air. Not overly comfortable sleeping with balcony door open but had to to get air. For that reason I wouldn’t return.

The staff at reception unfriendly and not helpful at all. The room was okay but the bed was not made. There was no diner at the evening I arrived, as the restaurant was closed. Cleanness was okay. Quatity of breakfast poor. Next time I will chose an other hotel.

Nice city center hotel - located in a little side street with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately there is a train station very near by with a pedestrian crossing ,the trains will sound their horns as they go pass (to warn off any people crossing). This happens in the very early hours of the morning! ! I was woken a number of times by this & I decided to complain! They said they will upgrade me to the other side of the building where you cannot hear the train. So we moved out of our noisy room to the new up graded room, only to be told that a extra 50 euros per day will be needed!! (I was not happy But this was our main holiday & 30th wedding anniversary)There is no coffee or tea in the rooms-you have to go to the bar.But the bar is closed between 10:00 & 12, this was supposed to be a four star hotel. There is only ONE small swimming pool (it's converts to an indoor when the weather is cold or wet). The grand total of beds was 10 on the roof top pool, with other seats. Not Impressed !! The beds were very comfortable. This hotel seems more like a short stay/business mans hotel.

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK me and friends stayed at this hotel in june only managed to stay one night as we came back to our hotel from being out at the beach to discover my friends case had been opened and money had been stolen. When reported at reception, police was called and we were escorted off the premises and was accused of being drunk and smashing things in the room. We had nowhere else to stay having a disabled old person with us in a wheelchair stranded on the streets with nowhere to go and no refund given. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS not a friendly hotel reception told us they domt like the english............

We've just returned from a 1 week stay at this well located and clean hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially when we got locked in the car-park! The only negative is the pool area does not have a bar to get refreshments but it didn't not spoil our time. If you are hiring a car the car-park costs 16 Euro's a night, this was something we had not budgeted for.

The hotel was very nice! Cleanliness was perfect and in the reception they were very helpful. Called us a taxi when we needed. The room had all we needed, but not as spacious as we would have liked, but loved that we had a balcony and the location to the beach and short walk to get coffee. Wifi was on and off. We will be back!
