The staff at this Marriott Bonvoy property was every bit as amazing as the Disney staff we encountered during our family vacation at the parks - and then some. We started with Brianna at the front desk who made us feel like we were returning home instead of visiting for the first time - she took care of meeting the specific needs of our family with grace and professionalism. The hotel has several terrific restaurants on property and the staff at breakfast was like being at a friend's kitchen table every morning. The location was absolutely as simple to navigate to and from the Disney parks as any on the actual Disney property, with easy and convenient access to buses, boats, and "minnie vans" any time of day. One tip is to self-park. It is close enough to get easily to your car and much faster than the very busy valet option. All in all, we would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

Grounds were pleasant. Transportation by Disney boats was good. Mears bus transportation to other parks was sketchy at best. We waited 25 minutes for bus to animal kingdom. First bus says, sorry just dropping off. Second bus, 10 minutes later says the same thing. The 10 folks that were waiting protested loudly and the driver relented and took us to the park. Pick up area at AK was not well defined. The bus driver had to come to waiting area to find all of us. Pool area was very crowded but nice. If you sat on the shade, which was hard to find, you were covered with tree debris. This stuff was also in the pool. More was expected for the $45 per day room fee. I think the parking fee was also $30 per night. Room was large and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Room facilities were dated. Tub shower, flush toilets, lack of USB ports. Walk to West elevator from our room was about 1/2 mile (literally). Great hours for convenience store on property. It was actually still open upon returning from parks. We got a very good deal through AAA for room fee, otherwise it would have been way overpriced. Would only go back for another very good deal. If you’re expecting a Disney hotel at the Dolphin, you’re not going to get that.

Some of the employees were not helpful or friendly whatsoever. We didn't mind that there was not a lot of Disney carry over because the hotel was beautiful! The beds and linens were the most comfortable and luxurious! Extremely nice bathroom with amenities as well. Lots of choices for food (snacks to fancy restaurants) to choose from. Convenient close boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios - not so much for Magic Kingdom. It was annoying our last morning we left at 6 am to have a swim and grab a quick breakfast and they had deactivated our keys. We had a hell of a time getting them to work again - even after going to the front desk! Plus nobody really cared except us lol

We stayed six nights for a family trip. The staff were very friendly, the person who helped us at the concierge desk went above and beyond. We had to request housekeeping after they didn't show up after the first night. It was consistent after that. The beds were comfortable, rooms pretty clean- I did notice a lot of dust around the sprinkler. The shower pressure was amazing, and it stayed nice and hot. Our room was surprisingly quiet- I never felt like I was hearing other guests which was much better than a previous Disney hotel we stayed at. We had pizza from Picabu- it was decent, but pricey for what you get. The two staff members were yelling at each other when we arrived, that was a bit uncomfortable. We also ate at the Fountain and had a lovely experience. The food / service was great- so nice to have a fresh salad with grilled chicken after all the fried park food! I was disappointed in Fuel- the sandwiches are all pre made, so we were unable to get any individual orders for our younger, pickier eaters. The pool areas were all beautiful, and we always found a chair no problem. We ate at the cabana three times, always good food and service. The transportation was great! We especially loved the boat ride to Epcot and HS, so easy and quick. My only big complaint about this property was that we were there during a "Splunk" conference, and it really felt at times that they had overtaken the hotel. The first time we tried to eat at Fountain we were told it was a 45 minute wait- the room was ALL conference members. It felt like they should save some space for other hotel guests- especially with the resort fee they are charging. Overall, lovely stay, we would visit again.

This hotel for us has a great location walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood studios. We have stayed here many times over the last few years and have always enjoyed it. However having just spent two weeks here the standards have dropped. We felt like the hotel are just not interested in you unless you are a conference delegate. They will happily close resort facilities for conferences and still charge you a resort fee. They do not recognise or provide any of the Bonvoy member benefits. No room upgrades here, even though rooms are available, unless you pay extra. And no late checkout! And please don’t bother with the we’d love you to call us and discuss the issues response because in my experience that is just platitudes from the hotel management to persuade future customers you do care! There are other hotels nearby which provide much better value for money and an actual service.

I really wanted to love this hotel. I usually stay on Disney property at Disney deluxe hotels but had Marriott points so I spent them on 5 nights here at the Dolphin. First- the resort and parking fees are not covered with the points, so it was still around $100 a night for the stay. The location is great- it is right there near Epcot and using if you are planning to go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios via the Disney boat then you will have no trouble at all. However, if you have any mobility issues, this is no the resort for you. Their bus could take a scooter because they said they had a lift- but I walk with a rollater and cannot do stairs at all- they don't have a ramp and we had to wait for about 30 minutes for another type of bus to come around that had a ramp I could get on the bus with. If we had known that, we could have just driven to TTC to go to MK- it would have been faster than the first 45 minutes we waited for the first bus then the 30 additional minutes we waited on the 2nd. Also- our room was not a handicap room. We requested one but they did not have one. The staff was SUPER nice though and moved us to a handicap room the next night- however the toilet was still very low to the ground just like the regular room- not the higher ADA toilet and the grab bar was loose. Not safe feeling at all. They said they would send a seat riser with handles on it- the poor housekeeping guy didn't fully understand what he was supposed to be bringing though and first brought extra soap, then shampoo, then a shower chair- finally we pulled a picture of it up online and showed him and he came back with the riser. He was so nice and I felt awful for him having to go back and forth for over an hour. The hotel itself was pretty- it definitely needs an updating and is stuck in 1997, and even though you are smack in the middle of the Disney bubble you definitely do not feel like you are in the Disney bubble- it is a convention hotel and it FEELS like a convention hotel. From the firemen's conventioners dropping F-bombs all over the lobby to the drunk business suits falling over in the elevator at 1am, it is definitely not the same as being in "At Disney". Oh- and the valet lost part of my keychain. The part that had my house keys on it. It was finally found a few hours later so that was harrowing but they did take off one night of valet cost for my trouble. All of the staff was really super nice and the early entry/late night perks were nice so that is the reason for the 3 stars- if I could give 2.5 that would be a more honest assessment. I could just be spoiled by the Disney deluxe hotel experience, but I had high hopes for this one and it was just lacking :( Oh- one bonus- we did get take-out from one of the restaurants and it was really good- I think it was Pikabu- and not too ridiculously overpriced for hotel food.

We stayed at the dolphin the last week in January 2024. Our stay was fantastic. The room was clean the service was great. Transportation boats to Epcot and Hollywood studios directly in front of the hotel, buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom directly in front of the hotel. Definitely worth staying here if you are visiting the parks. You can also see the Epcot fireworks nightly from your room if you are on the right side of the hotel. Hallways were very quiet at night and we had no trouble with noise during the night. Coffee and tea and room also tiny refrigerator. My only complaint was the bed, firm on the sides but very mushy in the middle.

My sister and I checked in for a quick weekend away from the Philadelphia 18° weather and 8” of snow. Upon arrival, we met the fabulous Brianna ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ at the front desk. She went above and beyond. She was incredibly hospitable and welcoming, she asked questions to get to know us, she accommodated our requests and was patient and peaceful in doing so. I’ve stayed here for years, most recently as 2 weeks ago for the Disney marathon weekend, and she was the most lovely person I’ve ever met at the front desk. I hope there is a way to reward her for such amazing service. Her boss Moe was also very friendly and welcoming too. Brianna ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ just showered us with care and 5 star customer service. We have loved our stay here at the Dolphin and Brianna made it possible. I only wish we could stay longer and can’t wait to come back!

Awful hotel, awful staff, terrible service - just avoid. We would never return During our recent trip, we stayed at various properties on site (Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club, Contemporary and Grand Floridian) and the Dolphin was the only one where we received such total bad service It started with the chaos of the valet parking - there was no valet available and we were told to wait (which was fine), but in the end we had to go and ask the valet to take our car as they then ignored us. We arrived at 11:30 to check in - we had no expectation that the room would be ready, so we were told that we could explore the resort. We asked a member of staff where the pool was and he just pointed in a general direction (the wrong direction completely) and wasn't really interested in helping us at all - a massive shock after the mazing service we had received in all our Disney hotel stays. Eventually finding the pool, the terrible staff customer service continued. What looked like the entertainments team were basically sitting around on their phones, paying no attention to guests. The service from the front desk was awful. Despite checking in at 11:30, at 3:40pm when we checked to see if our room was finally ready, we were told by the member of staff at the front desk (Michael R) that check in started at 4pm and that we were being unreasonable expecting the room to be ready already. He used the excuse that it was a speciality room and that it was a king bed to explain the delay! He also suggested that the room delay was because we had been upgraded - we hadn't - we had paid for the room we had wanted. He then told us that housekeeping was in the room, but couldn't give us any ETA on when the room would be ready. At 5:25pm (nearly 90 minutes after being told our room was being serviced) we eventually got our room number, after chasing several times and eventually. being helped by a manager. We had booked a fireworks view room, and the view from the room was everything we had hoped it would be, but that was the only positive. The overall room was dirty, despite there delay in us getting access because it was being cleaned, and we were horrified upon opening the fridge to find leftover food from the previous guest. We had dinner reservations, that we had to rush for due to there delay in getting our room, so we didn't have a chance to speak to the front desk that evening, and we had an evening at Epcot planned (it was New Year's Eve) Upon checkout the following morning, we raised our concerns with the front desk. The receptionist seemed horrified at what we had experienced, and went out to speak to a manager, but nobody bothered to come out to even apologise - the staff member was sent back to tell us that the $100 dollar credit we had been given (for the delay in the room being ready) was all that could be done. We didn't even necessarily want anything further (though a gesture would have been appreciated), but an apology and acknowledgement of the poor service we had received was the minimum we would expect from a decent hotel, with decent staff - something this hotel lacks completely Just avoid this hotel - yes it is cheaper than the Beach or Yacht Club, but you get what you pay for and the service you get at a Disney hotel is worth paying 2 or 3x the cost

Perfect for visiting Epcot. The MK bus took 30 min, but we didn't mind and weren't in a rush. We didn't eat anywhere on property, however there are many choices. Prices looked higher than actual Disney locations, so we ate and Epcot or a close Disney resort. Check in easy- beds were very comfy. We had a balcony room and loved that we could easily get fresh air and drink coffee outside. I kept getting turned around in the lobby on where to exit for buses and walking to Epcot. I took about 2 days to finally get it down. It's not very "Disney" but we were without our kids and didn't mind it a bit. Would stay here again. Oh and Disney fans will appreciate the great lobby smells and a special droid for photo-ops!
