Our first time in "Türkiye", was a very good experience, we are glad we chose Ephesia Holiday Beach Club, a great resort for family especially if your kids like waterslides, delicious food, with a lot of choices either the cold or hot buffet, great evening entertainments, and amazing extra activities, I was lucky enough to be treated for my Birthday with the Parasailing experience and it was amazing, recommend to anyone. Our experience inside the resort was faultless, but very disappointed with the outside, especially when we went into Kusadasi, a very nice Seaside town, but the market, where do I start, the main advice, be careful, very pushy sellers, limit harassment, avoid the market stand(s) near the port at any cost, they are the worst, a shame as that left our great holidays in "Türkiye" a bitter experience, on the other hand, the market just outside the resort is awesome, with friendly sellers.

Beautiful place alittle rough around the edges needs some tlc and repairs. The rooms were clean but not everything worked. Kettle , lamp, bathroom fan didn’t work, light bulbs also gone in lights not all working. We had our beds made daily and daily fresh towels. There was also towels provided for the pool. 10/10 for that. The food was a beautiful display of colour, and plenty of choice for the first half of the holiday. The down side was the cats all over the tables, we have photos of them trying to eat if people plates, also ones of them lying over the cutlery, yes they were shoved off by staff on occasions but they didn’t change the cloth or the cutlery they’d be lying all over, some poor person then ate with that cutlery. The staff were helpful but didn’t speak much English which proved tricky on occasions but they were lovely. Alcohol measure were plentiful but the variety of alcohol was very limited. Plenty of bottle water , soft drinks and variety of teas and coffee to help yourself to day and night. The food on the last 3 days got less and less as the season came to an end and the last two days it felt like the hotel was packing up around us and we were in the way. Not a nice feeling. The beach was small outside the hotel but lovely place to chill. Also boat ride paragliding etc. the spa was very over priced I felt. Was told £297 (English pounds) for 2 adults and one child to have a full body massage. I felt that was over priced so we left it. The pools were absolutely freezing cold but never the less we braved it and went in several times. The slides were more for children up to the age of around 10. The swim up room pool had lots of tiles missing underfoot and lose on the bottom. I think the hotel needs some maintenance doing over the closed period, the little bridge by the restaurant was very wobbly the one side. I feel the old side of the hotel lack the care and attention to detail that the new side has obviously got now. Overall though we had a lovely week, we booked plenty of day trips with Tui, who picked us up and dropped us back. Fanatic boat trip, wasn’t so keen on the safari, and the fantasy park was brilliant for kids and adults of all ages.

We stayed at the Ephesia Holiday Beach Club for 1 week in September 23. We booked a Superior double swim up room. This was a nice sized room with comfortable bed. Walk in shower. Safe, fridge , kettle and Aircon provided. Wifi seemed to have fair coverage around the hotel – a bit slow but free. The pool outside the room was not private and could be used by any guests and had no shallow part (1.4m). There are other swim up rooms in the Family Pool which appeared to have their own small areas. Food was ok – available in the Sunset buffet restaurant which was always quite busy and seating was sometimes an issue. Also snack bars (Burgers, pizza etc) at lunchtime. The themed restaurants season ended when we arrived so couldn’t try those. Alcohol seemed ok – lager taps advertised Efes but not so sure it was. Drinks were served in plastic coated paper cups which went soggy (although the bar upstairs in the La Veranda restaurant was still open and they used glasses). Plenty of bottled water provided in various fridges around the hotel. The hotel is right on the sea front. Ideal location to watch some impressive sunsets. There is a small beach which made a nice change to sitting around the pool however it was a bit dirty with litter and cigarette ends. We wasn’t really interested in evening entertainment at the ampitheatre (see photo of activities board). Not much outside the hotel – a few shops, couple of places to eat and at the top of the road (5 min walk) is an indoor Bazaar selling fake handbags / clothes etc. Nothing really wrong here but it’d be nice if they gave the beach a rake over, replace the cracked plastic chairs outside the restaurant / pool bar and used an alternative to the paper cups. All in all we had a good relaxed week in the sun staying at the Ephesia. We would return if there’s a deal on.

Just got back, don't normally do reviews but like to on here because I tend to use this website before parting with all that cash for a big family holiday! The hotel was well-staffed and always spotless - constantly had hotel team cleaning and maid service / rooms were on point and modern. The aircon was very good. We had a family swim up room and it was great to relax and not have the pressure of having to sort a sun lounger (although these were normally available). Walk in showers very good. Please be aware that the toilets can't have paper flushed down them due to drains etc. The pools and slides were great, very clean and the entertainment team always circling to ask if anyone wants to join the activities. They seem to work very hard and very enthusiastic. The beach isn't the best, narrow with stones and rocks mainly but this is a harbour town more than anything so wasn't expecting white sands and clear water. There is nothing other than a bazaar selling all sorts of fakes, nik naks etc nearby (although that was good) so you are limited to the hotel grounds and excursions (with Jet2 we thought these were too expensive). This was expected though and we enjoyed the hotels pools that much that we didn't really mind - although on previous holidays we have enjoyed the odd walk to somewhere different. The night time entertainment in the amphitheatre was really well delivered and the seating surprisingly comfortable. The food and drink was the reason I didn't give 5 stars. The food was very samey each day and of a poor standard. Meatballs seem to be the favourite along with different versions of Turkey (the meat). If you like salad you would be ok but the cooked stuff....not for us. The snack bars did pizza, chips etc so we tended to stick to that but I've definitely had better main meals in all inclusives. I like a drink, and to be honest the lager was ok (efes) but only vodka, gin and whiskey with mixers along with cheap wine. We decided to go to a local restaurant (Hong Kong) one night and it was very, very pricey! All in all, would reccomend but there was a sense of them knowing it was end of season with the food and drink and limiting the offering. That was the only let down.

Ephesia Holiday Beach Club Kusadasi Just awful worst we have stayed at 922211547 I don’t like doing reviews like this but here it goes. After reading some of the reviews we were sceptical but decided to go for it and wish we hadn’t. On arrival all seemed ok and the room was fine. Sorted our cases and left the room for drinks with the kids. This is where it started to go wrong. The gin tastes like petrol, I don’t drink whisky or vodka and that’s all there is apart from white and red wine which my wife tells me is also awful. What you do get when you eventually get a drink is very small paper cups that fall apart if you don’t drink it within 10 mins. We ended up going to the local shop to get some decent drinks and made them ourselves. Oh and no cocktails anywhere to be seen even though they are advertised. This was just day 1. We were in a family swim up room (old side) nice room clean and lovely pool, sadly again this is where that ended, night time came and omg the noise is horrendous, the walls are paper thin, the noise from outside during the night was like I lived in a city centre, tried to call reception to ask for security to get the rowdy people to move and no answer. The noise didn’t stop on any of the days we lost so much sleep the only lucky things was that the children were in the front part of the room so the sliding door must have blocked out some of the noise. Day 2 we thought it might get better, went to breakfast and there was only 1 coffee machine working for god knows how many guests, the queue was 15 deep at least. Then there is the cats and dogs wandering round and at one point a dog fight ensued, my wife asked the staff to try get them out of the dining hall but they just laughed and walked off. As another reviewer has mentioned every day we pretty much had to clean and set the tables ourselves. Bread is stale, the food is very repetitive and like warm most of the time, snacks bars they had no knives we asked 3 members of staff who just walked off and said there wasn’t any? I did try to speak to guest relations and give the hotel chance to rectify the issues but the lady didn’t seem bothered and pencilled my complaint into a small notepad . She said she would speak to the general manager and guess what nothing for over a day and I had to chase up a response. The responses were not that helpful at all. Basically saying I had to pay for my drinks if I wanted something different. They basically said I’m their reply that if I didn’t like the spirits then tough and I need to pay for other ones. Not professional really considering I paid for all inclusive. I went again to speak to customer relations but no one was at the desk and I had already spent more time than I should of trying to sort out issues that quite frankly you should not be having at a so called 5 star hotel which is what we were sold it as by on the beach. The place is run down and is in serious need of renovation and a re-evaluation of the stars awarded. I did email the customer relations again and they advised they had helped me as much as they could. This is where I was confused. They hadn’t answered any of my complaints or tried to help me. Things left unanswered were 1. Why didn’t reception answer when we needed help? 2. Why did the chefs ignore my wife when she asked what food she could have if she had a nut allergy. 3. Why was there no cutlery or any help finding any when we asked? 4. Why did staff not help when guests were struggling with dogs in the dining hall? 5. Why no ice creams as advertised? 6. Where were the cocktails? This is what the response with be from management. They will say they will take my feedback into account and take it seriously. If you read other reviews it has all been said before and not actioned. If this was the case then why oh why are there similar reviews from months ago. We will not be going back here and I do not recommend staying here AT ALL

Our most favourite place ever! Something for everyone, kids love it and Barney is a legend! Our favourite human, we can’t wait to return next time! 🫶🏼 Food can be repetitive and the beds are ridiculously uncomfortable but not a deal breaker 😂 Visited Casablanca restaurant in Kusadasi which was perfect! Also visited Hong Kong’s which sadly we found lovely but very overpriced and found some of the staff quite pushy and rushed us. All staff friendly and site very clean. We love you Barney!!
