This hotel’s location is excellent right in the middle of old town literally a 5 minute walk to all the main destinations. Shops, bars and restaurants all on your door step also taxis, bus stop’s and a tram stop all close by. The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming and willing to help with any questions. We arrived early but the hotel was happy to store our cases safely until our room was ready, the room was nice, clean and comfortable with everything that you would expect to find. A nice surprise was the hotel bar very nice for a predrink before going out or a nightcap before bed. The one note is that if you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the trams could wake you up when they start passing at 4:30am however this did not bother myself or my wife at all and we slept through, I really would recommend this hotel it is excellent value for money with a brilliant location.

A perfect stay for our first time visit to Kraków. A city that is somewhat saturated with hotels coming to Kraków and deciding on where to start can be a little tricky as there are so many lovely looking hotels with great reviews!

We shortlisted a few and decided to go with Santi and were not disappointed. Upon arrival a little earlier than the check in time of 3pm we were told our room (304) was ready and happily checked in.

Our room was huge! Was more a studio apartment than a hotel room but was great. Plenty of room, lovely shower, my only criticism would be the mattresses as they were a little hard for my liking.

WiFi was excellent, we did not have breakfast unfortunately but when we headed down to the breakfast room once morning it looked great however there is also a brilliant bakery opposite.

We were also given a complimentary drinks voucher to use in the bar downstairs and we opted for the cherry vodka which we delicious!

The location is perfect it's right in the heart of old town and 2 mins walk to the main square. There's plenty of restaurants and also a Carrefour express supermarket for the essentials should you need them.

Great stay and super value for money.

We stayed in the Santi hotel for the duration of our stay in Krakow.
The location is very easy to get to from the airport, at around 25 minutes in a taxi. It is in the old town, in a very clean and quaint part of the city.
The hotel staff were very welcoming, our room was ready early which was a bonus. The room we had was very spacious and pleasantly decorated, with a small lounge area in the room and a large shower room. It was very clean and well presented, with complimentary bottles of water. We were at the front of the hotel and the tram line does run directly outside, but you get used to them during the stay. I did not find them to be a problem.
The breakfast was a great selection of sweet and savoury foods, and the staff were always polite and eager to greet us when we came in.
It was a truly lovely stay and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Krakow.

Great location excellent stay, we were in room 207 on the 2nd floor lovely large room, spotlessly clean and quiet. basic breakfast, just ask if you want fried eggs or omelette no extra charge.
Returning to the hotel each night around 9.45pm to have a night cap met other guests listening to their days adventures, lovely end to the day, bar closes at 11pm, highly recommended

Central within the city, 5 mins walk from the main square. Super friendly staff, hotel retains main period feature with bags of charm & character the ceilings throughout the hotel are stunning.
Rooms are large with comfy chairs extra large beds. Rooms to the rear lack views but are generally quieter due to the closeness of the electric trams.
Breakfast are basic but very tasty, self service, hot food available to order.
The rooms can be a little too warm due to style of heating! No aircon this is because the building is very old! You can however open the window!!!
Hotel does support with excursions, taxi & tram tickets, would return

We come to Krakow at least one a year and have a usual hotel but thought we would try this one for change. It is quite a nice Hotel with a good location , however the tram noise is serious if you are at the front of Hotel, ( if a light sleeper bring heavy duty earplugs or it may ruin your holiday) The Hotel said it stops between 1200 and 0600 but they never mentioned the hourly night trams in peak season!

We requested a quiet courtyard room with Aircon which was confirmed by email but disappointingly the quiet room was not available. We had an aircon room on third floor so at least windows could stay shut reducing tram noise. If I was on a lower floor I am sure it would be intolerable.

On the plus side the rooms were large and very nice but could have done with black out blinds on the main roof window. After our trip to mountains we returned to our regular hotel and agreed that whilst this Hotel has some plus points we will stick with our regular one in future.

We had arranged a transfer upon arrival which worked out great. We arrived late in the evening and we used our free drink coupons at the bar for some wine. Our deluxe room on the 1st floor was huge and we loved the architecture details. Some exposed brick and wood beams gave the room a lot of warmth. The bed was big and extra comfortable, we had a sofa, 2 comfy chairs and a coffee table with some complimentary cherry brandy and a box of chocolates!

The location could not be better, very close to the main square without all the madness. The staff was very friendly and helpful and did I mention all the free sweet bites at the reception?

Breakfast was great. Our only complaint was that one day the ordered items (fried eggs, omelets etc.) were not available and our first day there was nobody around for a while to explain how everything worked. Maybe they were short staffed at that time as the rest of the days they did a great job!

We had a great time at the Santi. We would definitely return!

We had a lovely short break in the Santi. The hotel location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. Hotel decor throughout is very nice and our room was very spacious. There were three in our party and our room (201) had a small separate room for the third person (our son) which was perfect. Room was well appointed and made up daily. Tea, coffee and water available.

Breakfast was a nice continental style with a small selection of hot food. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and the trams were still quite loud, so front rooms maybe too noisy.

Staff were very pleasant and officiant during our stay.

I would stay here again without hesitation, but perhaps only in a room at the rear of the hotel.

Pros.
Santi hotel is in a perfect location for walking distance to the square, restaurants, shops, Jewish Quarter and attractions.
The staff were friendly and breakfast had plenty of cold meats, cheeses, kippers, eggs and salads to choose from. They had about 3 hot breakfast choices. On our early start day out, we got a lovely snack box which was more than enough to see us through the long day which was much appreciated.

Cons.
I really didn’t want to write a negative comment, but our room (104) at the front of the hotel was really noisy with the trams passing all night. I’m sensitive to noise so I always travel with good ear plugs but even those did not make much difference and I had very little and disturbed sleep which resulted in me being very tired and exhausted all the time I was there which partly ruined the trip for me. I did tell one of the receptionists and she did look to see if the was a room at the back of the hotel, but unfortunately there wasn’t, she did say there was a room on the 3rd floor, but that too was on the front of the hotel. I couldn’t see that would have made much difference and I didn’t want the hassle of repacking and unpacking for just another two nights.
I’d read other reviews about noise from the front rooms but they didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. It was a very big deal to me and when rooms are described for selection, it should be mentioned that there can be noise from front rooms so we have a chance to book or not book.
Having had such a miserable time at the hotel it has soured my views.
The only way I would recommend this hotel is that you request a quiet room, if not, then you just have to take a chance.
