A clean and smart with a lovely seaside location and great terrace overlooking the sea front. Breakfast was great, good egg station and fresh cakes and breads and the serving staff were hilarious (ask for your egg to be flipped and see what he does) recently renovated hotel in central location. Spacious rooms and small balconies, bathrooms a little outdated with small cubicles. Friendly staff throughout the hotel and good WiFi. Not a lot to do in the area but pretty coastal town.

Overrated, overpriced, looks abandoned 50 years ago, ruined, rude staff/family (btw, scamers, they will price you daily for Internet and twice for city tax) & racist- only good thing is that beach is across the street. Avoid if posible.

OMG have never encountered such rude staff! Just checked in to this hotel (6pm) and it is hot for me. On inquiring about remote controls for air con, the man at reception told me it was off for the winter. He said it’s cold for them so it is off for winter, pulling out his jumper to reiterate the comment-I don’t doubt the weather is cold for locals but I’m the customer here and it’s hot for me. He was very unpleasant about it. Am rather astounded by his rudeness, especially given running a hotel is in its very nature a service industry. Can not wait to leave-there are other hotels here so choose wisely folks!

The only thing going for this hotel is the location however most hotels in Giardini Naxos are in a good location. The hotel is dirty & rundown. The staff are rude except for the gentleman who served breakfast, he was a delight. The WiFi is NOT free. They charge 2 euros a day & to use the safe is 1 Euro a day. There is no fridge in the room & they do not allow you to keep food in their fridge. Giardini Naxos is a fabulous place, don't spoil it by staying at this hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms a little dark and bathroom small. But, so what, go outside and enjoy the beach right in front of you. Great breakfast, from a room with fab views. Being requir d to pay for wifi and Internet in this day and age is a little strange

The description of this hotel is totally misleading. While it is in a very good setting and it is family run, oh what a family. Stayed there for 7 days. On arrival, no friendly welcome, just handed the keys giving us no info about the hotel at all. When asked questions of any sort they just shrugged there shoulders. There seemed to be a bar but we never saw anyone ever manning it. We came to the conclusion it was just for show. Rooms are small and dark and unless you have a front one the rest face either a brick wall or in our case the stairwell of next door for all to look in so we had to leave the curtains closed at all times. There was a glimpse of the sea between the brick walls.have given this 1 star but really would like to give none. On checking out the lady not only ignored us not asking how our stay had been, she then charged us 3 times the tax we had been informed on our booking saying it was no concern of hers. The photo is our view from our balcony. Great resort very poor hotel.

The hotel has been found 1964 and the rooms are very personal and pittoresque, Breakfast is very good with both salty and sweet ingredients. Location is 50 m from the beach on the most popular walking street. A train station is 25 minutes away by walk, buses you can reach in 10 minutes. Places like Etna are close, also small villages like Taormina.

Its claim of 3* is a joke and must have been made by the owners - who, especially the woman, was indifferent at best and downright rude at worst. A ‘traditional’ sea front hotel described by a companion as "shabby chic". The whole building is very dark and lighting in the bedroom was inadequate for reading. There is a lift but just two passengers with luggage were a very tight fit. The room was tiny and ill-shaped - our twin beds were in opposite corners. There was no place to sit at a desk, no chair and no air-con remote so we suffered during the first night. On asking about this we were told that the remotes were kept at reception! We took one and when we tried to use it the following night it didn't work - the night receptionist came to the room, tried the remote, shrugged, said, "Not working" and disappeared. We were offered a room change after that episode, but we were leaving the next day and repacking to move would have taken ages. There was no fridge in the room - and ice from the bar was very reluctantly, and sparingly, given, and we were refused glasses to take to the room - there is no in-room safe and wifi is at a charge, despite the website claiming free-wifi! There are no 'surfaces' in the room on which to put stuff - the only surface being completely taken up with an ancient TV - poor reception made it unwatchable - and nowhere to put empty cases, apart from the doorway when we were 'in' for the night. The bathroom was, likewise, tiny with no surfaces for toiletries and the shower was adequate at best. As a bit of a relief, there was a small balcony with a table and two chairs - but no balcony light! Two redeeming features: Firstly, it is handily situated right in the middle of "the strip" - although the strip's late-night partying and the proximity of a road beloved by boy racers made it difficult to sleep - especially with no air-con. Secondly, the breakfast room, on the top (4th) floor has a shaded balcony with a wonderful view over the ocean - unfortunately the breakfast didn't match the room. Nothing hot on offer, but a choice of cereals and the usual cheese and salami. The bread rolls that were not eaten seemed to reappear the next day rather stale. Yoghurt was available the first day but not the next - the waiter shrugged and "Finish yesterday." The fact that nobody had seen fit to buy some more, sadly typified the attitude towards the guests.

This quaint hotel is located right on the oceanfront and is run by friendly helpful staff. The rooms are small and a bit cramped but we had a large balcony on the 2nd floor that rapped around to the front so we had a nice view of the ocean. Bathroom was cramped but ok except for the very small shower cubicle and water-saving outlet. Ok especially given it's prime location.

In room 202 is the poorest shower I have ever seen. But worst was the indefferent attitude by the woman in the reseption. She is the lowest of low. Hotel is near the beach but it is very noisy. The view from the room was the wall of the next building. From balcony you could see the sea. Bathroom (with poor shower) was so poky that you hit yourself always to the door frame, wall etc. The hotel décor is most definitely dated. Zero points.
