Really friendly and helpful owner/staff. It’s a great location for Giardini and is on the beach. It has good sound proofing so no issues with noise from the promenade. The rooms are high spec, clean and large. We had the cleaners come every day to the rooms and they brought crossings, toast & jam. Has good kitchen facilities. The swimming pool is indoors and there is a sauna. This was handy as it did get quite hot on the beach so kept the kids busy. I would not though it is fairly deep and kids can’t stand up so we had to be in the pool with them. We had a bit of a nightmare journey getting there (due to the airport fire at Catania which meant flying to the other side of the island and a 4 hour bus journey). I’ve ended up arriving around 2 am and they accommodate us, we’re really helpful in getting us in and doing the passport stuff the next day and they also have us a room upgrade to the sea view (which is a great view!) If you’re in Giardini Naxos I would stay here as during normal hours the airport bus stops right outside and you can also get other local buses or hop on/off buses right by the hotel too.…

The staff is outstanding !!! We stayed on the 5th floor. Amazing large balcony with an amazing view and a fun swinging love-seat. We had booked excursions on our own and the staff gave us a map and told us how to get there. They called taxis for us when needed and at times told us not to waste our money and advised us to walk or take the bus when it was quick. Location is so convenient. 10 Minute bus ride to Taormina and a 20 minute walk to the harbour where you can book dolphin watching boat tours and boat tours of Taormina. Booked last minute when a previous hotel cancelled our reservation. They were the happiest staff that gave us the warmest welcome. My kids loved the indoor pool that had a cute little water fall. The owner showed us how to make water come out of the lions mouth that was hanging on the wall. I loved the sauna too. Beach is right across the street. So close. To a of restaurants near by with awesome food. Arcadia restaurant next door was soooo good !…

Absolutely great stay in this hot, staff were really great, they upgraded us to sea view apartment, even though we booked studio and allowed us a late check out for evening flight. Views from room were breath-taking, apartment iyself was newly refurbished and with well equipped kitchenette. Loads of places to eat and drink in Naxos, beaches are great. Visit to Taormina and boat cruise are a must. Thank you Hotel Tysandros, did not want to leave

Wow, where do I start with this hotel. The staff, to begin with were just lovely. We found out on arrival that they had upgraded us as well. So we were delighted. When we went up to our room, it was waaaay beyond our expectations. We were on the third floor, massive super kingsized bed, big tv, kitchen and huge bathroom. We had a balcony with a table and chair that overlooked the sea and offered spectacular Sicilian Views 24/7. We spend so much time in the room just out of sheer relaxation and comfort. On the same street you will be treated to so many beautiful bars and restaurants that offer some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. You won't be short of choice no matter what your taste in food. As I said, we will be back to this hotel, hopefully sooner rather than later!…

A lovely family run B+B. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is good, meats, cheese,s, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. We had a top floor suite, and the views were fantastic. Right opposite the beach with plenty of cafe/bars to eat at. I definitely recommend it, and will be coming back.

Apartment was very clean, with IKEA furniture, kitchen, tv, terase, large bed (confortable mattress, huge pillows). Bathroom was long with everything you would normally need - nice touch with hotel's shampoos and soup. Breakfast is served from 7 - 10 and mainly you have fruits, sweets (cake, brioche, etc) but also eggs, bacon. Overall you have a variety of choices. From the desk you can barrow books (in English, Russian, Germany and, why not, Italian)

Tysandros is a good hotel at 10 m of the beach. We had suite 502 at the 5th floor with a nice roof terrace with a good view over the beach and the bay. Staff was most forthcoming and very friendly. Visiting Taormina is best done by using the public bus leaving at 200 m from the hotel every 15 min.

Just back from a holiday stay in the Hotel Tysandros. The staff there could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is wonderful just across from the beach. It's worth upgrading to a room with a balcony for best experience. The only drawback is that it can be lively on the street an weekends with a bit of noise but is was fine during week nights. The door to the balcony is also fairly good sound proofing. We will be coming back here
