Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was clean, large and spacious, with lots of storage space. Our room (Michelangelo) was on the back and it was quiet. Lots of towels, a decent blow dryer, and plenty of shampoo, body soap. Huge shower! Included a mini fridge. AC was great too, just needed to ask the front desk to turn it on. The location is ideal. Short walk from the train station and central to the town. The breakfast room is cheery and had plenty of options including fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats, boiled eggs, pastries, toast, cereal, OJ and coffee to order. The bed and bedding is okay. Pillows and mattresses are a bit tired. That said, we slept very well! Our only problem was the wifi in our room. It was not reliable and cut off often. Very frustrating and we could not rely on it.

The best feature of this hotel is it's proximity to the train station - a four minute walk. That was helpful for us relative to our plans and it's about a 10 minute walk to the center and more attractive features of Arezzo. It's an old and tired hotel though. Breakfast was plentiful. We had a room in the front of the hotel overlooking the street and it was so noisy, even with the windows and shutters completely shut. Because of the noise on the street ( people partying, sirens, dogs barking), we could not sleep and the noise sirens, did not subside until 2 am. A bad experience and we would not return again.

This hotel certainly needs a facelift on all fronts! From the decor to the levels of hospitality. Dated and almost dingy this place was barely manageable as we came in quite late in the night and checked out early in the morning. They had heated up the whole place like a Sauna. And all the quirky decor in the room creeped us out a bit too. If not for the excellent location, we would have never chosen this place! LOCATION: Excellent location within walking distance from the train station as well as all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Didnt have a chance to check what they had to offer, co cant comment ROOM: We stayed in a room called ROSSINI, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the street ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Barely functioning air conditioner, had to leave the window open all night!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: random cosmetics, so do bring your own. FACILITIES: No gym or pool on site. SERVICE: Thank god we got received by the lovely lady who managed the front desk in the night. Apart from her everyone and anyone we interacted with here seemed to have an issue with delivering warm hospitality! Certainly not folks with a sunny disposition! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages and also connected to Smart TV Apps like Netflix, Amazon prime!

Perfect position at walking distance from city centre, all you need all around you. Really clean and wonderful room. Kind and professional staff, especially concierge service who gave us the best advices on what to visit and where to eat. We'll come back as often travelling for business and we really suggest it for short or long stays.

Wonderful position at walking distance to the city centre and to the train station. Rooms are very large and quiet. Many restaurant and shops are near to the hotel. Breakfast is good but there is room to improve it.

The rooms are named after musicians and they each have a quirky feature or two like a bathtub in the room or a shower with glass panel with blinds (seemly stick open) to the bedroom. Internet worked but a bit slow — fine for a night’s stay working way back from Umbria towards Florence airport. Breakfast was fine but pretty basic. Good coffee. Juice. Boiled eggs. And a modest buffet. Just one cold cut, a few cheeses, a few roll types, some fruit, two cereals, etc. It would be boring on day two. Central. Near shopping and dining. Parking lot around corner — first left if you are coming from the railway station. This is not a four star hotel by any means but the bed was fine, the shower had three different streams and the price was fine. Staff friendly upon check-in. PS My son‘s room had an AC unit that would stay on only for thirty seconds at a time. A call to front desk yielded no joy but a late night visit led to its restoration. It seems there’s central control. PSS I checked in before my wife arrived. Her arrival and issuance of a second key then switched mine off. Had to double back to desk to get it restored.

I stayed at this hotel for four weeks in May 2019. I was accompanying a group of 38 undergraduate students from Oklahoma (USA). My review is based on both my experiences and the feedback I received from the students. The internet at this hotel does not work. For the whole four weeks, the students had no internet access at the hotel! How can we expect students to do well in two fast paced courses if they are not offered the minimum structure to do their academic work? And every time anyone tried to talk to the staff, they were immediately shut down. Moreover, sometimes students would stay in the hotel lobby to try and get some internet access and get some work done (in the rooms was even worst), but they would be told that they needed to go up to their room. Any time after 11PM the students were not allowed to stay at the lobby working, because the man from the night shift would tell them they needed to go to their room. Which leads me to the next big problem, service. Regarding service, it is my understanding that the owner of the hotel is the man that stays at the reception in the morning. I also gathered that the man that sleeps in the reception at night is his brother. Well, both these men are absolutely appalling. The owner is an awfully rude man, who on one occasion yelled at me and called me names in Italian. I am not fluent in Italian, but I speak Portuguese and I know what "idiota" and "imbecille" mean (it means idiot and imbecile). That man started yelling at me because I politely asked him what students were asking me, which was when they could expect their towels to be changed. This was during our eighth day of stay and the towels had not been changed yet! So there you have it, this four-stars hotel does not change towels and you get yelled at if you ask about it. Toilet paper and soaps were also not replaced in the room. Myself and the students had to go to a supermarket nearby to buy toilet paper and soap. I would imagine that a 4-star hotel wouldn't mind replacing toilet paper and soap! It is true what another review said about the AC not working. It was not possible to adjust the temperature in the room. Apparently it was a central adjustment that no one at the front desk did anything for any of us! The students were given a curfew, even though the hotel says has a 24-hour front dest. The students were not allowed to leave the hotel and were yelled at if they tried to come back after this time. The man that stays at night in the front desk (the owner's brother) sleeps on the couches at the reception and is less than happy is someone wakes him up. Besides disgusting (I mean, the man sleeps on the couch you sit to hang out at the lobby!), it is absolutely ridiculous for a so-called 4-star hotel to have a curfew for its guests! Early morning on a Saturday I was catching a train really early and left the hotel at 5:10am. The employee (owner's brother) was sleeping on the couch with a pillow and a blanked. He actually complained to me, asking where I was going and saying that it was too early and the hotel was closed. My advice, find yourself another hotel, unless you enjoy being yelled at and called nasty names in Italian. Save yourself some trouble and book your stay somewhere else!

Response from vogue H, SP at Vogue Hotel Arezzo
Responded 8 Aug 2019
This comment is an insult to our professionalism as well as full of inaccuracies. We remember her, you stayed with us for 20 days with a reservation made by her school, a group of more than 40 students, as her school already knows, we have respected all the agreements made with them. You are American, how did she understand conversations in Italian? I want to clarify that knowing a little Portuguese is not like knowing Italian, a completely different language, this thing for us is so funny. Why did you not specify that you were the only person in Your group to create problems for us, because his companions didn't complain? You are making this comment only for revenge, only because we have not obeyed her whims, we have many customers from all over the world every day and you are the first person in 15 years to write such a review, I think the problem is not us , I think it's your personality. We will contact your school as we still have your name, this review you have done can be interpreted as an act of "defamation", I advise you to review your position, because you alone will be responsible for future consequences. We will pass this comment on to our lawyer. Greetings New Vogue Hotel

Gorgeous hotel and I think it’s the best in Arezzo. Location the best you can imagine, you’re already in history center. 3 minutes from Piazza Grande. Nice restaurants and cafes are also near. To have dinner at Logge Vasari is a must, awesome place with nice and beautiful atmosphere. The hotel itself is also a small masterpiece, all rooms are different you won’t find the same. It means every time you come you stay in a different place. The people who work here are so nice and friendly. Minuses??? I didn’t find them and would be happy to stay there again
