We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Mayfair. Clean and roomy for Copenhagen accommodation. Thank you for the excellent service/advice from Albert, Jimena and Marshal. 5 minutes from the central station and hop on hop off buses etc bike hire right outside.

The location is really good next to the train station and within walking distance of most tourist attractions and restaurants/cafe’s. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is clean and comfy. My only criticism is the rooms aren’t huge but the beds are super comfy. Definitely worth a stay here!

Really good hotel. Stayed in a "new standard" room - huge bed (really comfortable), big room, modern decor, really warm (much appreciated in January), very clean. Lovely bathroom. Had a few issues connecting to Chrome cast TV but very helpful staff member quickly sorted for us (it was our technical skills that were at fault, not the hotel). Great spot in Vesterbro, lots of great bars and restaurants close by but very quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel is designed nice and has a good location. The rooms are small. We had one upgrade from their basic double and glad we did as it was just an okay size. You don’t get draws and only 1 open wardrobe with 4 coat hangers which made it a very tight squeeze for clothes! The bathroom was very small, we just about had enough room to dry ourselves after a shower and my partners legs touched the wall whilst on the toilet! You can’t change the temp in the room with the climate change box on the wall so was always very hot and we always had a window open! There was no coffee machine/kettle or bottled water etc in the room either. The tv has no channels on it to watch so you have to mirror your phone if you can do that. There’s also a strip club opposite the entrance of the hotel, it wasn’t a bother and we weren’t sure if it even opens still as we didn’t hear any music etc but it may be something to be aware of if you stay here with younger children as it does have some interesting slogans on the windows! The hotel over all was a nice with a good location and lovely staff but it was just those few little things that you would expect from a basic hotel that it didn’t have.

Dear Dean, Thank you for your review. Happy to hear that you enjoyed our central location here in the beginning of the charming Vesterbro neighborhood. Sounds like you booked one of our Modest/Economy double rooms and upgraded to an Upgraded Modest room. As you mention, these are not the largest rooms, in fact these are our smallest double rooms with a 140-160cm bed. In all of our rooms we have an open wardrobe. There are always 4 hangers, but of course guests are more than welcome to come by our 24/7 open reception to request for more :-) If you would like to have a high quality coffee machine in your room, be sure to book one of our newly renovated Deluxe King rooms next time. As you mention, instead of regular TV channels, we use chromecasts. This way our guests can stream their own content directly to the TV. If you are ever missing anything during your stay or would like to see alternative rooms, please do not hesitate in coming by our reception. We are only interested in giving our guests the best possible experience with us, so given the chance, we will do what we can to make this happen :-) We hope to welcome you back! All the best, Christine / Hotel Mayfair

Great value. Clean and stylish. Very helpful staff. Excellent location, close to train station, and near lots of restaurants etc. No kettle in room but we took our own and some paper mugs and tea bags / coffee so not an issue. Beds are comfortable but they have mattress toppers which move in the night and make it feel like you may fall off. We requested quiet room which they gave us, but it was still noisy because of thin walls / doors and lots of noisy people in the hotel playing loud music at 3am. TV has chromecast so you can watch Netflix etc from your phone onto the tv. Reception is also the bar. Staff incredibly helpful when we had forgotten a travel adapter. This hotel was excellent value and I think if you’re young and not too fussy about sleep quality and won’t spend much time relaxing in your room then it’s a great choice. You may want to look at other hotels if you want a higher quality room / beds / no noise. Overall it’s a great hotel for the price with excellent service and location and very clean with lovely hot showers.

As always it is great to stay at this boutique hotel. The staff always meets you with a smile and will help with any needs. We stayed at the top floor in a 20 m2 Deluxe King Room with ample space. Room was clean and cosy. We always stay at this hotel when visiting Copenhagen due to the cleanliness, warm atmosphere and great service. The only thing we avoid is the optional breakfast due to the price (around 200 Danish kr. per person) but there are bakery´s and coffee shops all around in the nearby streets with nice prices. Hotel Mayfair is the place to stay !

The rooms are located on our top floor with slightly slanted ceilings. They all have a high quality coffee machine and plenty of space. We did enjoy our time in Copenhagen, and this hotel is in a great location to explore the city, however there are a few things that let it down. We knew they only do breakfast which was ok, but the bar facilities aren’t great, basically the reception doubles up as the bar, very limited choice of drinks, no vodka, no red wine and ran out of gin the one night, we didn’t spend hours on end in the hotel but when you want to relax after a long day it’s nice to have more than a few choices. We upgraded our room to a signature double, clean and tidy but absolutely tiny, I had to walk sideways to get into bed and my partner had to duck her side as we were in the eves, and she’s under 5 foot !!! Like I’ve said, we didn’t spends hours in the room, apart from sleeping and getting changed, but barely enough room for 2 people, would dread to think what our original room would have been like. If we were to ever go back, I would need to see the cost of a suite, as the signature rooms are just not big enough. Just being honest, the hotel was clean and tidy but just lacked in certain areas.

It's a while since we stayed here but thought this needed saying. 3 night stay. Location was not too far to walk from the station. I found the area around the station and hotel a little on the grotty side but not too bad, I just wasn’t expecting this in Copenhagen, lots of graffiti. Our room was very small, bed comfy but seemed on the cheap side not solid. The mattress also had a topper. This made the single bed unstable with no housekeeping to check all ok. One morning I turned over and fell out of bed as, I think, topper was not on base properly, I’m over 60, not fun. There is no housekeeping unless requested although our bin was emptied on one day. One thing or other, please or tell us the bins will be emptied each day. No frills, no tea and coffee making, no water, no safe. Very small hanging space. Good double glazing to cut out noise from the courtyard. Very good breakfast. Nice communal areas. Bike rental available if you want to do that.

We stayed in a standard double room and I would not recommend you do so..... the room was tiny and very poorly lit making it almost impossible to get ready for the day. The bed was average and small, the room had no tea/ coffee making facilities, no safe, no air con and no blinds (only curtains meaning people would fully see into our room, and we had to have the curtains open due to the poor light!). Bathroom was tiny, the toilet was so close to the shower you had to push the shower door in to be able to fit (and I am a small person!). Our window was very close to the room next to ours, meaning we could see into each others rooms and hear everything! On a positive..... Good location (about 5 minute walk from central station ) Friendly staff Nice reception area Nice restaurants near by such as Maple Casual Dining
