Hotel service was excellent and rooms were very clean. Breakfast was always good and varied. Hotel is located in a central location close to the train station and bus terminus. If I'm ever back in Pisa I would not hesitate to book here again..

Location is great for exploring Pisa and also for hopping on a train to Lucca or Florence. Downside to the location it’s a busy city street but you are in a city so to be expected! Hotel staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, our room was spotless. Breakfast was good. If you’re looking a reasonable city break where you are out exploring most of the day this is a great base. If you’re the type of person that likes to lounge around a hotel all day, probably not for you.

Run from here , it’s in a dodgy area and it’s more like rent by the hour type of place, we checked in and as soon as got another hotel we checked out we only stayed for 1 hour couldn’t wait to leave. The shower tray was filthy and the smell of bleach horrible

The hotel was very clean, the staff welcoming. However there was a problem with the water which meant no water for 2 hours. The manager was very apologetic and tbh these things happen. The shower was lovely thought quite small. The breakfast was adequate. The only problem was the room mini fridge which made a racket every time the thermostat cut in and out. It woke us up about 4 times during the night. As we were only staying one night it didn't seem worth saying anything. Would be stay there again, probably not, though it was close to the station for our transfer to Florence

Although some of the docor is older the staff work hard to keep it clean our room was pristine. Great shower really large area. Toiletries are not included. Comfy bed. Only a couple of minutes walk to train station which is a real advantage when you have luggage as taxis are not plentiful. About half hour walk to leaning tower and about 10 to 15 mins walk to centre where there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants. We didn't have breakfast. Hotel safe was broken and despite asking twice it wasn't resolved. Staff mostly ok but can see why people in other reviews might perceive grumpiness sometimes! It is about 20 sec walk off the main road and this side road is not tourist footfall. Hats off to the cleaning staff amazing!!!!

I arrived last night late a man on the desk ask me if I was solo I told him yes , he said you ask for double bed? I was not comfortable with this questioning. I told him I visit this hotel on a regular basis and have never been asked this question I asked him to please put on Aircon, I went down 20 minutes later and asked explained this Aircon was not functioning, he was furious and came to my Room, he fiddled with boxes on the outside and said I'll have to give you another room. I waited and after 15 minutes and suffocating I went downstairs to find him happily cheering along with a crowd of girls in the foyer! Yet he's spitting nails at me as though it's my fault! Some 15 minutes earlier I got another room and the Aircon was functioning as it should. There was no need for his attitude but one thing is for sure I was very unsettled by his anger issues. If you read back over the years of reviews I've always left positive feedback for this Hotel and as a woman travelling alone always made a Beeline for the TP, however today I'll tell it like it is. I wouldnt return to this hotel ever. Mind out single woman alone this guy with the glasses on that was on duty the evening of July 17th needs anger management if you happen watch out He was frustrated he couldn't get Aircon working which is not my fault!! I hope he reads this and responds for sure! …

Response from Terminus Plaza, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Hotel Terminus & Plaza
Responded 9 Aug 2023
Good evening, thank you for your evaluation; the fact that you were asked if you were alone was not out of interest in your personal affairs or rudeness but only because whoever was at the front desk wanted to know if they had to wait for the arrival of another guest for your room in order to keep the door monitored entrance that is closed at night for safety reasons and not to keep the guest waiting and we see nothing rude in this; when you reported that the air conditioning was not working the receptionist came to the floor and not to play with the switches but as per the procedure indicated by the technicians he turned off the general air conditioning switch in your room several times to try to reset the 'system but it didn't help so he went back to the reception to get another key for another room to give you; arriving in the hall there was a group of female customers waiting outside the closed door for security reasons the receptionist having moved away and let them in, the ladies started asking questions about their needs for the stay and when you came down he was only responding to them as a courtesy and was not having fun with them which is not permitted by the regulations; it does not appear that he addressed you in a rude or outrageous manner but he was just a little agitated having to listen to the customers who insisted on having answers and having to come up to you to give you the new room key and only worried that your waiting made you angry; In the various reviews we have received for years there have never been any complaints against any of the reception staff and it does not seem appropriate to accuse a person of frustration who is only worried that the disservice and waiting to resolve it could make the customer angry and therefore it was an understandable moment of difficulty having to assist the customers in the hall and you at the same time with your problem. Of course we are sorry that there has been any misunderstanding we assure you that the reception staff have been in service for many years and there have never been any problems, none of the staff would ever allow themselves to behave rudely or angry; We apologize if the moment of concern has generated the impression that you had responsibility for the disservice while this is not the case. Best regards

Location Hotel is located very close to the Pisa main station. So needless to say that it is centrally located. There are many restaurants, mini markets nearby and Pisa tower is just 2 km from the hotel. Rooms Rooms were large and had all the facilities. Breakfast was good but not the best. Staffs were really helpful. Highly recommended if you are traveling with family. It seems the hotel is bit old but the staff is taking good care of the rooms so you won’t feel it.

we stayed here for one night - it's an ok hotel, walking distance from the train station which was a priority for us. The rooms were clean and in reasonable order and the breakfast was good. The one issue for us was the noise of the elevator - we were in room 112 which is located next to the elevator shaft - it was noisy as the lift seemed to be operating throughout the night.

Comfortable room, good location in front of the station and delicious breakfast. No elevator but we stayed at the second floor, it wasn’t a big problem. The check in was very late.generally a good hotel for one night stay.

Stayed in a family room. Hotel was a little tired, although staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice and location was good for the train station. First time I’ve stayed in Pisa, so can’t comment on value for money. Having also stayed in Florence, seemed that you get less value for your money in Pisa.
