Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rooms and oublic places are very dark. Black floor, black walls, poor lighting make the atmosphere pretty depressive. Airconditioning does not work in room, but you cannot open the window of the room. Omlett at breakfast is cold. Pretty big hotel but there is only one elevator, so you need to wait a lot

It wasn’t really worth it for £240, 2 nights, 2 people. The hotel should not be a 4*, it is 3 star at best. Had no issues checking in. Staff were polite. The room given looked nice at a glance but after looking around a lot of the furniture was either ripped or broken. The air conditioning did not work so the room was hotter than a volcano. When trying to adjust the temperature it was didn’t change. The shower and sink was rusty/ dirty and the shower kept leaking every where so couldn’t adjust it to full power as it would go all over the floor. The bed was very uncomfortable. Very noisy all day and night. If you’re wanting a good night sleep this isn’t the hotel to stay at. Breakfast was so so. The hot food for example, scrambled eggs, egg spinach crepe, sausages were cold. On my first day of breakfast there was huge hair in the sausage pan. Yes I didn’t eat from it. Just put me off. Plenty of sweet treat and cakes though.

Stayed here one night with my baby. Room was a decent size, stylish and comfortable. Baby cot in excellent condition and also very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and a good deal at 15E. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Just a short walk from the station so very convenient. Only thing missing was coffee/tea in the room. Would happily choose this hotel again.

I recently stayed for 11 nights and I want to address a deep concern. This is my third stay at the Glam Hotel and past stays have been wonderful but I was extremely disappointed with my most recent stay. My first two nights while in room 406 was incredibly unpleasant. The bathroom had an odd musty odor to it so I asked the front desk to please send someone to check it out, I indicated to them that the bathtub drain was broken and also the bathroom smelled like a dirty drain pipe. I asked the front desk 3 separate times throughout different times of the day for this to be addressed but no one showed up to my room to address this issue. The next day, I had a headache and it was only then that it occurred to me that the odd bathroom odor is the smell of mold. I am not a person that often gets headaches and mold is one of the few things that will trigger a really bad headache for me. I quickly asked a housekeeping staff to come into the room to also smell it to confirm whether or not it smells like mold, soon after, 3 separate housekeeping staff had come in and smelled the bathroom and confirmed that it does indeed smell bad and it does smell like mold ("la muffa", they concurred). They advised that I head to the desk for a room change. This was wildly unacceptable that your hotel has an unaddressed mold issue and that a guest was placed into this room. I raised this problem at checkout and the front desk simply said "ah yes there was a mold problem it seems, but I hope the rest of your stay was fine" and just brushed off my concern. I can understand if an area was not the most tidy but things like mold causes fundamental health problems for many people and I am extremely upset that this happened. It's particularly upsetting since I have enjoyed my past stays and have always stayed at Glam while visiting Milano, this really breaks the trust that I have placed in your hotel. I have sent management this feedback in an email 3 weeks ago to Glam's operaser.it email and asked that management respond with an address to my concern, but they have not responded at all nor acknowledged receipt. :(

The first day/night of the stay we dealt with a terrible issue with the water not draining in the bathtub and actually overflowing with some kind of substance. After going and complaining to reception, the problem was resolved. However the problem with the safety of the bathroom was never solved and ended with my wife slipping and falling. She busted her face on the border of the bathtub. Several cuts and severe bruises later here we are. As soon as it happened I ran downstairs to explain to the front desk what had occurred and the employee working the counter was extremely disinterested in an injured guest and simply casually gestured me over to the bar to get some ice for my wife. All the while barely raising her eyesight away from her phone screen. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never be staying at this hotel again.

We stayed at 6-9 Nov 23 with one standard room. Close to Milan Centrale train station around 5 min by walk. Reception staffs are very nice and helpful. There is bar inside the hotel on the ground floor. We attended the bar at 6 Nov 2023. The cocktail is wonderful and bartender is very friendly. Overall room is good. Breakfast quality is great.

Friendly staff, great room and amenities. A couple of issues but these were dealt with promptly. Great view and good value for money. Location was perfect for us, central to everything/easy to get around due to proximity to Milan Centrale train station. Glad we didn’t pay too much attention to the reviews that complained about rude staff - we found them all to be friendly and efficient. Great stay.

This hotel is well situated; across the street from Milan centrale station. There was nothing wrong with it, but it definitely gave a 1980’s vibe (black tile bathroom & red furniture). I would stay here again, but only because it was just “ok”.

The rate was about 180 euro per night, and with taxes and Hotel Fee (20 euro per night) the stay got more expensive. This was without the 15 euro per person breakfast. There is a bar on the lower street level, and there is a restaurant between the first and third floors. The elevators are slow, but the room was clean and with the exception of not having a microwave or bottle opener was satisfactory. There was a safe and a refrigerator, as well as television. Our room overlooked the side street and the parts of the plaza (Pictures shown). There is a Metro (subway) entry just feet from the front rotating door, but it is not at the metro station, you have to walk the tunnel that goes under the plaza to the Milan Central station. The hotel management were responsive to request, and the workers were helpful. The location near the train station was one of the best features as it was also the place for many of the bus and train tours to other locations like Lake Como, Venice, Florence, etc. There are several restaurants and shops (Selling beer at 1 to 2 euro) within a block or two walking distance. Would stay there again, if ever returning to Milan.
