Small friendly guest house between the historic old town and shopping areas of Genoa. On the busy xx September Street with shops and restaurants near. Historic attractions well within walking distance. The guest house is four stories up in an old block. Ring the bell, look at the slightly shabby lobby, walk up or try the very old lift and perhaps wonder if this was such a good idea. Do not worry. Once in the hotel is small, informal and very friendly. Chatty helpful owners, Bobby the small quiet dog that lives on the sofa. My single room was small with a side view of the main street. Clean if basic and worn. TV worked with local channels, fridge, hot water in shower. Overall functional and at the price good value.. Some Road noise as with no air conditioning you will have the…

We spent one night there. Agostino and his daughter were really nice to us and she gave us really good tips to follow. It is well located, quiet (you can hear some noises from inside but nothing from outside) and spacious room! The fan worked well for us too.

Olympia Hotel is truly welcoming and that staff is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. The hotel’s little Jack Russel Tommy is – despite being generally very calm – nevertheless ever so grateful for a heartily scratch. Thanks for those great days!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The owner speaks English, WiFi works, the room was exactly as I expected it to be. Hotel is located very close to the city centre and the harbour. Easy to get anywhere. Moreover, I got a map of Genova from the owner of the hotel with his tips where to go signed later on the map. The only disadvantage was closed elevator, but it was due to the renovation of the staircase. It’s temporary. I would go here again if I stay in Genova. :)

Situated on the fourth floor, the building is in a good location. Lovely small rooms and very clean bathrooms. Very good location. Close to the station. Good Breakfast. The staff is not there full time. Language can be a problem though. But because of the location it is a very good option.

The owner Agostino was very welcoming! After a long day of travel I finally arrived and was offered a coffee :) which was very much appreciated. The room was clean and modern. Walking distance to all major attractions and I felt safe walking around alone in the area, I didn't venture alone out at night but it seemed like a good area. Agositino was extremely helpful with advising the best tourist spots to visit in my short stop over in Genoa. I only spent two nights but definitely would have loved to spend more time there. Thank you Agositino for your warm hospitality. Celia

This location was close to so much shopping, not a far walk from the ocean and observation deck, and the staff wS very friendly. Private bathroom right outside the room and we were also provided with a dinner reservation when asked where to eat along with discounts to activities. Balcony as well! Great location to buses and metro. Very pleased!!

A wonderful hotel, full of character, the hotelier was genial and pleasant, very accommodating and was full of character himself, and went out of his way to find us a café for breakfast as well as making us lemon tea when we didn't want espresso. Would gladly stay again.

I could not even begin to tell you how good this Hotel is. The owners of this chic boutique hotel should be congratulated on their cleanliness, their absolutely wonderful service, the very fast wifi and the wonderful position right in the middle of the main shopping district. We had 13 nights there and I cannot wait to get back as a tourist this time. Patricia Donald
