This year we had chance to visit Italy again and for some reason - by the end of the vacation - we ended up in Trieste. We already stayed in Villa Nazareth - see previous review - wich wasn't exactly flawless however we have been offered a free night stay. It was a very-very last minute thing that we decided to go back to Trieste but the hotel managed to provide us the room also comlimentary breakfast. The room was ok, freshly renovated bath and big bedroom area. I highly appreciate that they kept their word even in such a short notice I gave them when I asked for this comp room. I do understand - reading other comments - that this installation is "just" a hostel (sort of) but pricewise this is what u get in town for your money.

We have stayed there for two nights as a young couple. The room was clean but poorly equipped. The bath was newly renovated (shower, WC, bidet) so it was nice. Relatively good view over the port (unfortunately the cargo docks). I choosed this place because of our motorbike. The site said it was a private carpark however it was also the entrance of a block in the neighbourhood. The breakfast was: bad coffee, cheap sweets and dry danish. Some butter and muesli and cornflakes. The bike has been damaged during the 2nd night which we've realised in the morning of our departure. We had a good 100-120EUR damage. However the staff seemed to be helpful and took my email address saying that they will contact me I had to contact them after two weeks. That was 3 weeks ago now. I thought they might refund maybe the 1st night as a gesture of good will or cover my expenses by insurance. No reply. Do not go there...especially with car or motorbike.
