Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Much favoured premier inn. Prefer this to the Hannover st site as it always seems to be quieter inside and out. Great staff help with a stress free and trouble free stay, handy location for eating out at some nice restaurants and close enough if you want to nip into the town centre. You know what you’re getting with a premier inn and this one delivers admirably.

The room was very tired and requires lots of TLC. The room was so dark but as we were on the front where people could see us it felt uncomfortable to have the curtains wide open. The room definitely requires a bigger light. There is a Beatles shop below and the music started at 8am which was slightly annoying. Ending on a positive note, the location was great as there’s plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

We stayed just for one night as we were in Liverpool for the LFC tour the next morning and coming home straight after that. We have stayed in premier inns before. We had our 2 year old son with us so we bought our own bed guard to fit to the single bed that was in our room along with a king size bed. We ate out within the Albert Dock and returned for our son’s usual bedtime. We were unable to let him sleep in the single bed intended for a child due to it having two open sides, one being my a full size window which was pretty draughty. My husband ended up having to sleep in the single bed with my son in the big bed with me (with our guard on his side) My husband said he felt cold most of the night due to being so close to a big window. The beds were a little two firm for our liking and pillows were also hard. The location is brilliant, the building and rooms are unique and decorated well. Breakfast was fantastic, full continental and cooked. Reception let us check in 30 mins early without paying the early fee. Very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. Would recommend.

The fire safety doors in the hallways woke me up many times during the night, which is why unfortunately I won’t stay here again. It’s a shame because the location is perfect, staff are nice, breakfast was good and bed was comfy. A downside is also the fact that you can’t open the windows. I couldn’t see where any fresh air would come in other than through the slightly untight, old windows. The air con which is a heating at the same time is extremely loud so I decided to leave it off, as the room temperature was okay for me (in February) and the air con would just circulate the existing air anyway while some kind of airing system that brings in actual fresh air would be a lot better. I hope something can be done about the doors and windows as this could be a great place. But sleep and fresh air are essential.

Leaking shower and whistling flush issues raised with the staff but not resolved. Good location for Liverpool One and the docks. Hotel a little tired decor wise in the bedroom. Botched and messy silicone around the bath. Carpet tired and thin.

What more do you want - reasonable price, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast & room with view of Albert Dock. We wanted to stay budget this time in Liverpool as have stayed at various other Hotels in Liverpool previously. I love Albert Dock area and the Hotel is so handy for everything you might want to see when visiting the City.
