- Franck156Stockholm, Sweden56 contributionsExcellent museum in all respects and now the NK-exhibition is on for some more months. Best lunch in town.Written 19 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marta RRStockholm, Sweden24 contributionsThis was a surprise for us. Inside the biggest tower there is a museum. First floor is about middle ages and the installation is nicely done and entertaining. The same with the second floor and Renaissance. There is a mixture of old objects and newly built figures with information about events that took place in Nyköping.
Free entry.Written 9 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The first floor showed story of NK, how it was to the end, pretty interesting.
But on the second floor, on the back side, it showed the art and modern painting and design, not much but really inspiring for my 12 years old daughter.Written 18 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We came from 6 busy fun days in Stockholm , sightseeing, walking and train hoping and this is just what we needed to unwind and relax before we got back home , just 15 minutes by bus from Skavsten airport this town has a lot of history , old cobbled streets , little windy roads and lakes , the center of the town has a pedestrian street with shops , coffee shops and restaurants . We had lunch at this really nice place by the river , a bit on the expensive side and portions were a little small but very tasty , food they offered is organic , the whole scenery is relaxing . The castle was nice , parks were green and clean , harbor is just adorable with old style buildings , trees , ducks , ice cream parlors and games for kids . There is a museum there but we didn't get to visit it . This town is perfect to just walk at your own paste , relax and breath fresh air .. It was a perfect last day ..Written 20 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BooDee123Los Angeles, CA2 contributionsThis place is perfect for your kids. We happened upon this park and was not disappointed.
All the activities and obstacle courses seem to be hand made, using recycled tires, gears, ladders, wood, hoses, etc. It's simply brilliant!! There is also a sand box for the little ones, a tricycle "speedway", a small cafe, lots of shade and tons of happy kids! It's so different and not your typical adventure park.
Bring your kids, and a picnic, and enjoy a full day! I guarantee you they will sleep on the way home!!Written 26 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Here you can se military jets, se how they work and you can even fly in a simulator. Many ptlit enginees to se. Omly for men? No this a popular place for children and also your wife! Sit outside in the nice wether and take a cup of coffe and an icecream and look over the airfield when the planes landing and take off.
One time every year, normally august they have i big flight show with many airplanes and helicopters, engines from all over the world.Written 5 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is very interesting long pier. Next time I will try to cross it all- seems really long.Written 7 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Åke EBirch bay20 contributionsThis swimming-hall is primarily intended for families with children. Lots of different pools, jacuzzis, canals with different temterature and depth. There is a swimming school in a separate pool. There is one big water slide and in one place you can swim through an opening to the outside. In summer there is also a big outdoor pool.
For adults, If you want to exercise they have a 25 meter "olympic" pool. The building also houses a gym with all the usual gadgets. Only thing they don't have is a jump tower or trampoline.
I also liked that parking is free, ticket prices are modest, and the available food is slightly better than at most similar places in Sweden. At many other similar facilities, everyone has to pay to get in, even if they are not going to bathe; no such silliness here. Staff are friendly.
Anything bad? Yes, they don't take cash. If you don't have a card, you're screwed.Written 3 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Definitely to be included in the route for a walk around this lovely town.Written 2 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mbv9415Omaha, NE757 contributionsdefinitely enjoyed touring the old churches in Sweden. One of the oldest. The ladies were very gracious during our visit. Always in awe of the history in these churches.
If you are doing ancestry searches, this is where you need to go if looking for a family name in the cemetery next to the train station.Written 7 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
