Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- THFC69Berkshire, UK704 contributionsTook the opportunity to make the trip on the last day of their season. Sadly it was a dolphin free zone, but enjoyable none the less. Very popular, queue built up before sailing time. The return journey from Fowey was fun, bit like a roller coaster ride. Well organized trip and worth doing.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Diana Carolina S26 contributionsIt was amazing this little musseum, with loads of history and curious details about Mevagissey.

Lots of car parking available, do use the ones just on the outskirts of town not the harbour one. In high season it would be a nightmare.
Finding the harbour area is easy and the little lanes leading to it have tourist shops, pubs and places to eat.
The harbour is still heavily in use with fishing boats moored up. You can walk along the harbour wall to the small lighthouse. From here there are lovely views looking back to the harbour front.
Good footpaths are located either side of the harbour so you can view it from all sides. Many of the properties on the hillside are holiday lets.

We caught a number of tuna, which was great in itself but the dedication and understanding of both Chris and Tom to the scientific project to understand the fish and its habits was really nice to experience. We’ll be back!Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Beth S2 contributionsFantastic trip, skipper stopped to let us admire the pic of dolphins swimming around. Caught loads of mackerel, had to put a lot back as they were small but caught enough big ones to take home for dinner. Spacious boat, friendly, informative, helpful skipperWritten 2 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Camberwellse5London, UK18 contributionsFantastic experience. Tom took us on an exhilarating ride out to see a seal and some cormorants. But the highlight was a pod of 8 dolphins including a baby which played around us. We stayed and watched it was amazingWritten 8 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Derek G4 contributionsThe Skipper and his wife were very helpful, with 3 tourists, they lifted my electric wheelchair onto the boat and the trip around the bay was wonderful. I haven't been on a boat for many years and it was also special because it was our anniversary. Very much recommended.Written 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
