What travellers are saying
- scout2017Heusy, Belgium60 contributionsAn amazing park. Well laid out and clean. The buildings did not strike me that much but the nature and lakes did. It is not so easy to get there by subway but walking down the hill from Paulista Ave along one of the nice streets a pleasure in itself.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReservarldenLondon, UK377 contributionsAmazing building featuring various eye-catching galleries on several floors. The entrance fee is 30reals and there is also a gift shop located just outside too. The building itself is magnificent to look at from both within and outside.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReservarldenLondon, UK377 contributionsOne of the most elegant avenues in the city with lots of large buildings everywhere. Many shops, hotels, food venues and much more and on a Sunday the road is closed to vehicular traffic during the day between 8am and 4pm. Just don't get caught out in a horrific Sunday afternoon of rain, thunder and lightning as occurred mid February 2024.Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - murilodmSao Paulo, SP18 contributionsBest stadium in São Paulo! Close to subway station, modern facilities and with the craziest supports ever!! It definitely worth a visit, either in a Corinthians match or for the tour.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - scout2017Heusy, Belgium60 contributionsBesides the building, the display of the artwork is fascinating as well as the art itself. I had tried unsuccessfully to order an entrance ticket by internet but the ticket office at the museum entrance was open and no problem. Very worthwhile.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Msairline2000Plantation, FL7 contributionsMy daughter and I enjoyed the whole experience. The cane juice was so refreshing. We tried so much good food and drinks. - Dohko the TravellerSantos, SP5 contributionsI went there before, and it were a lot of fun! but in this pandemic stuffs there were less interactive (that is something very understandible!)Written 17 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 53businesstraveler69Savannah, GA292 contributionsAmazing VIP package to come see Paul McCartney on tour. The Parque Mirante restaurant was great (despite the Vegan served food) it was delicious. Great view of the stage and sound check area. We were rained on during the sound check after the meal, but the show that night was amazing. At 81 years of age, Paul pulled off Helter Skelter, Live and Let Die, and many others for over 2 and half hours, switching between 4 stringed instruments and 2 pianos without taking a break, (and Biden can't even walk up stairs).Written 11 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nalini NGreater Sydney, Australia559 contributionsDo visit this popular attraction, I got lost in the spice section:-) After walking through the seafood, spices and fresh food around you will be so tempted to try some of the foods and there are many to select from. I bought a number of pastries including the popular pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart) in Australia - they did not disappoint!
Donot miss this sensorial experience.Written 5 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So many opportunities for interaction with sounds and images. I love the museum. my favorite section is the World Map that showcases the Portuguese-speaking places around the world: Timor-Leste, and Macau (in Asia), Brazil (in S. America), Portugal (in Europe), and Angola, Cabo Verde, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, and Sao Tome & Principe (in Africa). Fantastic place for those interested in learning more about languages!Written 9 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dJON6Aarau, Switzerland69 contributionsWe took the subway Line 2 to get to the museum and got off at station Clinicas. From there, the museum is located in walking distance of about 15-20 minutes. It might be a bit tricky to finally get to the museum on foot but the surrounding area is fairly safe and thus could be an option apart from taking a taxi or Uber.
Be aware that you don't get a physical ticket at the ticket office. Just head to the museum's entrance once you paid and confirm your payment orally towards the staff.
The musem is split into 3 floors. It starts with the development and background of Brazilian football, visualises the most memorable moments of Brazil's football (including short portraits of some of the most formative players) and ends with a more interactive part where you can shoot at a goal yourself or play table football e.g.
I liked the structure and diverse set-up of the museum. The content is provided in writing, on screens as well as through audio elements. Unfortunately, only a small part of the information provided by the museum has been translated into English. Your visit would be definitely more interesting if you understand Portuguese.Written 21 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
