Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An uncanny place especially if you let your mind wander to "back in the day". There is a small admission fee to see inside the fort or just stay outside with no fee. Parking is not a problemWritten 30 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sugarandspice2Languedoc-Roussillon, France1,464 contributionsWe walk past this lighthouse on the way to Midoun. If you come and visit it, make sure you see the camels and the old well nearby.
There is a military camp next to the site too, with barbed wire and run down accommodation for the soldiers.
The bus stop opposite is a work of art so l took photos.Written 9 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bretthodgesSanta Barbara, CA USA84 contributionsBlinding white in the sun, austere and magical. Local women were cooking in the courtyard with their children. Husbands were going to come by for lunch. A photographic paradise.Written 28 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sugarandspice2Languedoc-Roussillon, France1,464 contributionsWe only found out about this attraction thanks to TripAdvisor and made it part of our day out this morning. A kind gentleman showed us the way to make the clay, form the pots and dry them before putting them in the oven. Very informative. This is all free, but you can buy a bowl or vase from his little shop before leaving. We gave him a few coins as a thank you as we have little room in our suitcases. The baby camel is a cutie.
The broken pots are encrusted in the walls to keep the temperature even during the seasons.Written 19 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
