Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Who doesn't enjoy discovering winding Streets full of colourful and interesting stalls and shops. The fish and vegetable market are also worth the visit. There are unfortunately some men who pretend to be from your hotel and a few stall holders who are insistent but just ignore them and enjoy browsing.

The weekly souks are held Monday and Thursday mornings in houmt souk. We love wandering around the stalls of fresh vegetables, second hand clothing, spices, insence, jewellery etc. This morning I was really pleased to find 3 antique gowns from the 1930 s beaded and embroidered by hand for a few Dinars. There is something that will please everyone in the market.

A must-visit shop during your walk in Houmt Souk ! Nice collection of handcrafted designs . And some of gifts or accessories could be custom-crafted... Friendly and professional staff.
