Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I just don’t know what to say except breathe taking ! Angkor Wat and the National Park is probably one of the wonders of this world. Don’t make the mistake to visit just for 3 days unless you are a marathon runner or iron man. If you’re really wanting to see this amazing place you will need at least 5 to 7 days. We stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t get to see everything!

We spent the afternoon here after doing Angkor Wat at sunrise in the morning. It was not nearly as crowded and was nice to have less people milling about. Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend doing this as well.

Fascinating old trees with roots goingvthrough the buildings. Touristy. Need to wait to take pics. Wait is not too long though.

Please go and visit, what you will learn is more than enough to understand how bad the situation is with land mines (not only in Cambodia). If you are able donate a little because the little will make a difference!

A bucket list must! You have made it to Cambodia, surely this is why you came? Note: the ticket office is separate to the park, consider buying your ticket the evening before if you want to see the sun rise at Angkor Wat. Be sure to get there as early as you can, its worth it. You will need transportation around the park as it is VAST. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat and be sure to have sunscreen and plenty of water. Do a little research beforehand to get the most of the trip.
Yes the place gets busy and the locals want to sell you their wares but for most people this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself into something totally unique.

A real unexpected highlight of our visit to Siem Reap. A short and informative visit to learn about what organizations like Apopo are doing to alleviate the horrors of landmine across the globe

We were not expecting this given the historic town! It really is a street of bars and music and you could be anywhere. Glad we went and there is a big choice of bars and shops and it is very lively. Bars very cheap!

Well worth a visit. The museum holds a number of impressive statues & artifacts from Angkor Wat & other nearby archaeological sites, supplementing understanding of both the places & their history. It has a modern informative layout and as such is a lot better than the National Museum in Phnom Penh. There is though surprisingly little on everyday Khmer life, but maybe not much is known. Entry price is £10, not the £100 currently shown on Tripadvisor!

Unveiling the majestic Baphuon Temple in Cambodia, visitors are transported back in time to the 11th century, where this architectural masterpiece dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva stands as a testament to the Khmer Empire's rich history and cultural heritage. The temple, built during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II, served as the state temple of Angkor Thom, showcasing intricate carvings and a towering pyramid shape that reflect the Khmer architectural style of the period. Thanks to extensive restoration efforts funded by the French government, the Baphuon Temple has been meticulously preserved, allowing travelers to witness its grandeur and historical significance firsthand. As one of the largest temples in Angkor Thom, the Baphuon offers a unique opportunity to explore Cambodia's past and architectural prowess, making it a must-see destination for those interested in ancient wonders.

Great compact museum with plenty of armoured vehicles and artillery pieces. Also haas a display of weapons and anti personnel mines. $5 USD to enter, tour guide who was ex military with plenty of war experience and story’s will take you around. I tipped $3 well worth the money.

This was our last temple in Cambodia, and it was great! The temple isn't big, it doesn't take a lot of time. It's 3 levels, so you have two sets of stairs to climb. They're not bad at all. It's a beautiful temple, and the five sanctuary towers on the top have gorgeous carved detail. And lions. Big lion statues. The view from the top was great. This is another one that is pretty quiet, not many people. It was great having the place mostly to ourselves.
