Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today, my friends and I visited the Art Palace, which is very interesting and beautiful. There are many interesting objects and paintings in the museum, which mainly date from the 18th and 19th centuries. The museum also has a secret room. The girl who works there explained everything very clearly. I recommend everyone to visit the museum.❤️

We only went there on Monday, 23rd October as the other museums were closed. Tickets cost 15 lari each.

This museum mostly exhibits Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli's works.
The 2nd and 3rd level were regarding his works. I actually enjoyed seeing his works as it was vibrant and showcased abit of Georgian culture (which is nice for someone who has little exposure of that)
The 1st level had an exhibition of a Bahraini artist Rashid Al Khalifa, which is cool and worth checking out.

Museum staff at the counter speaks English well and explained the different exhibitions at each level.

    Photography and Videography are allowed.

My husband and I just stumbled into this museum after seeing a sign on the street. He is a musician and was interested. It might be my favorite thing we’ve done in Tbilisi!
We paid 5 Lari each for the tickets and another 5 Lari for the tour. 100% pay for the tour. It was the best part of the experience.
The lovely lady who was our tour guide had good English and explained the history, culture, and play style of all of the instruments. She also played a number of them for us!!
If you’re a fan of music, history, culture, or just little-known gems, visit this place! It’s well worth the hour out of the sun, and it’s right next to everything in OlD Tbilisi—right across from Europe Square Park.

Some lovely displays with signs in English. Unfortunately a lot of rooms were closed with no reason given which was a shame and it made the visit quite short. It was a bit hard to find the entrance but worth persisting.

Enjoyed a wander through this museum. Happened to be there when it was the Japanese doll exhibition which was unexpected but enjoyable. Located in an east place to access but the door was closed and was a bit tricky to find the entrance. Reasonable price for this museum

Interesting. The building is modern Glas and chrome. Glass floors in secured entrance foyer.
The museum houses only Georgian Artist for the last 80 years. You will see similarities in much of the art from the younger artist.
The museum staff definitely needs to work on the flow of the exhibits. You will see the Artist Information signage (Georgian & International language) and start enjoying the art and a new Artist Information sign appears! You went the wrong way. Some sort of directional signage on floor would help.
It's 15 GEL lari, I highly recommend they consider issuing a two day pass. The work is plentiful and overwhelming. I would have made multiple trips like at other museums that have multi entry tickets.

The gallery is on the second floor of an old fashioned, communist era building. The paintings, with a few exceptions, use more or less the same colour palette, which can be a bit monotonous. Nevertheless, some are beautiful and make a visit worthwhile.

Very pleasing modern art gallery with oil on Canvas, sculptures, Italy modern contemporary photography. We spent around 45 minutes to explore and 15 gel per person to enter.

Lots of amazing art work by local and international artists.

The History Museum is located within the fortress walls and entry is cheap, so may as well visit. I found the collection a bit of a hodgepodge, random items ranging from a painting gallery, photographs, armory, icons and archaeological items. It helps if you have a guide who can try to make a little sense of it all.
