Awesome downtown holiday experience. Streets overflowing with people having a good time. Stores open, music playing, very walkable.

The tour was great, not only because it was very interesting to find about the history of the Union brewery, but because our guide (Nina F.) was very friendly and had a lot of interesting information which she shared with us.

The three bridges are literally that, three foot bridges in the middle of Ljubljana old town that are next to each other. These bridges also have both free male and female WC (toilets) under them, for your information.
The bridges offer great views along the river, into the main square and have many bars, restaurants and cafes around them. A tourist hot spot.

This square is located right near the heart of downtown/old Ljubljana. It is named after France Preseren, who was a Slovenian poet, and there's a statue of him there on the square. The square and statue seem to be somewhat of a meeting point, both for locals and for tourists (our walking tour of the city started there). It's fairly scenic, with the Triple Bridge crossing the Ljublanica Bridge to the old town itself, as well as the big pink Franciscan Church. There isn't necessarily a lot to do here, but it makes for a good meeting point and people watching, as well as some photo opportunities.

Well worth spending a few hours walking or running in the park. The Museum is really interesting and well worth a visit. You can easily walk there from Ljublana bus station

This is not a “wow” cathedral when in Europe compared to so many others. It is one you should still visit when in town. A quick stop that will not cost a lot and is still very pretty inside. It’s much more simple when compared to so many other ornate options but yet not so much so as to be uninteresting. Detailed frescoes are painted on the ceiling, with gold trim and a designed organ. Also check out some of the most unique doors we've seen on a cathedral

We took a boat ride on the river that was included as part of the Ljubljana Card that we purchased. The river is more like a canal, crossed by multiple bridges that lead to and from the city's Old Town. It isn't especially picturesque in itself, although some of the bridges are.

The boat ride lasted about 45 minutes, first heading south/west a bit past the Cobbler's Bridge, then returning back the other way a bit farther than the Dragon Bridge, before letting us off at our starting point, near the Ribja Bridge.

The canal ride was calm and fairly restful, and we did see some swans and cygnets, as well as multiple kayakers on the river. It was a good chance to relax and enjoy some of the sights, although not especially exciting.

Have been up to the top before but a long time ago as you only paid for the ride up on the funicular but now you have to pay an entrance fee to get in to most of the rooms & the upper viewing points which was not the case on a previous visit. You still get great views of the beautiful old town of Ljubljana, river and beyond down below.

Located on the edge of the city centre, it's easy to walk to and interesting to find how many different dragons you can see as you walk over the bridge

Great experience and interesting illusions. Even better with two or more persons to experience every illusion.

We loved the concept of the open kitchen, having that many charming little food stands to choose from was fun. There is a ton of food options to choose from between the food stands, including vegan and gluten free, which is always a plus in my book. The food we had tasted great and the portion size was okay, but it ceratinly was not budget friendly. We paid around 32€ for two meals and one dessert. While the food was served super fast, the wait time for the dessert was 25min (not the employee's fault, since the girl at the pancake stand only had one waffle iron to work with). I've seen some tasty looking desserts, but decided against trying them since the prices were astronomical (1.6€ for a single small chocolate bonbon, macarons at 2€+ a piece).

For me this area and location is best at night. Being by the river with the light makes for a great area to walk around in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Many nice restaurants and bars around with by hotel being close by did eat out this area often.

Plan your visit around lunch or dinner and enjoy the zone.
