Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On our trip to Spain, France and Andorra my wife and I spent three days in Tossa de Mar. Our Hotel Rovira was very close to the historic area and shops, bars, and restaurants.

While walking through the narrow cobblestone streets we came upon the Chapel of Mare de Deu del Socors. It is a very small but well preserved old church right in the middle of the popular shopping area of Tossa de Mar.

While this Chapel is not any famous and/or large one like in Barcelona, it is still worth a stop to visit and photograph....

I was walking by and just decided to look through the door to see inside. I had to go in. It's is stunningly beautiful. So peaceful, so cooling, so queit.

I was amazed to find out that this church was only built in the 1930s. The inside looks like its 500 years old.

As with previous comment...once inside the old castle walls its stunning...the part derelict building is well worth a look trying to imagine it in its full glory..couldnt get all the way in as a stage had been set up but could still sit and wonder...catch a road train for 6€ if you cant walk up steep inclines and steady walk down to see this and other buildings and ruins
