Absolutely stunning transformation of the Alcazar gardens. Beautiful lights, magnificent effects created with lights and lasers combined with fog, and imagery projected on walls etc.
Almost didn’t go because of the negative reviews, but after reading an overly absurd one in Spanish complaining about it being painful to those sensitive to light decided to give it a chance. The complaint about it being hard to find the entrance is valid… It’s on the back side of the gardens, just off Avenida Menéndez y Pelayo. Small print on a sign on the front side of the Alcazar mentions Paseo de Catalina de Ribera which is where a walkway starts towards where the line would be, and by the ticket office there’s a QR code with the location for GPS.
Also saw complaints of long lines. Probably true usually, but tonight there was no line at all for the last entrance at 9:30. Several reviews hurt the score with complaints about it not being fun in the rain which is probably true too, but obviously irrelevant on nice days.
I’m glad we disregarded the negative reviews and got to enjoy this beautiful way of seeing the Alcazar gardens!
