Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stumbled on this museum as I was walking the city at the start of my 5-day stay. Free to EU passport holders (and also super cheap for others). The staff was lovely (both at the entrance and inside). All bags need to be left in lockers. It was beautiful, super well maintained and super interesting. I highly recommend visiting this museum!

Amazing museum. Boys (6yo &12yo) loved it.
Lots of fun. Smiles, joy and happy faces all around. Rarity nowadays.
Book in advance not to wait.
    Enjoyable 1 hour spent

Right in the heart of Seville I'd imagine this place might be missed by many visitors. But it's definitely worth checking out the beautiful architecture and history on display.

It's an exceptionally beautiful institution. And particularly the exquisite Baroque Church.

Its first purpose was as a residence for priests, particularly the elderly, indigent and disabled of these.

A delightful courtyard has a sunken fountain and many orange trees. All surrounded by wonderful colonnades.

Art, both Old Masters and modern. is to admired. Amongst the former are works by the 17th century artist Lucas Valdés.

Ángeles Agrela’s Afrodita en Procesion is a striking piece. Carmen Laffon’s Maquina de Coser Cubierta is another modern work.

Free to enter. Beautiful old building housing invaluable documents from Spain's maritime history. The documents displayed are a very small selection of those contained in the repository and is changed over time. The second floor is beautiful with old paintings of Spanish conquistadors and officers. Need no more than an hour to cover this point of interest

We wanted to visit the museum in T February 2020 but found that it was closed for renovation. There was no information on their website about it. You may want to check before found all the way there.

This is a little out of the way but if you have the time or if modern contemporary artworks are of interest this is worth going to. You can easily hail cabs in Seville but there are none in this more remote area so be prepared for a bus ride, long walk or Uber (which I couldn’t get the app to work)

We stopped at the Antiquarium while walking through the city. We weren't sure what to expect, but found it very interesting and informative. The inexpensive entry cost was well worthwhile. The signage could be a little clearer, but it was a good stop and we're glad we went.

Has changed from last time I was here (I came for the quirky art), but lovely, relaxed atmosphere and cool, eclectic-industrial vibe. Very friendly staff - highly recommend

Really interesting. Great displays. Most things explained in English and Spanish. Free entry which is always a bonus. Not huge but definitely worth a visit. Mornings only if I remember correctly.

I've found this museum to be really interesting - located in the Maria Luisa Park, opposite the Archeology Museum, it hosts a couple of exhibitions related to trades, traditions and how the life looked like in Andalucia in the past. Free entry for EU citizens, cheap entry (I think it was 2€) for everyone else.

Great little museum in Spanish and English and only €3 each. Worth spending an hour in there. It’s right next to the Art museum

We were glad we crossed the bridge into Triana to visit the ceramics museum. You can enter for free if you have your tickets from Alcazar, although not sure how soon after your Alcazar visit you would need to get here. We paid the regular entrance of €2.20 per head which was well worth it. You'll start by enjoying the downstairs where you can see the old kilns and read about them. Upstairs showcases some beautiful pieces, including an incredible tiled screen with birds, pottery, and advertisements on tiles. This was an interesting visit and we would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in ceramics.

Wonderful performances by all artists. Enjoyed Flamenco in this small cozy venue. Be sure to be there 30-45 mins before the performance to get good seats.
