Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The La Giralda was a powerful site to draw one into this Catherdal. The orange tree courtyard was so inviting. Now, the Catherdal was powerful. There was a baptism while we were there that was so touching.the high alter was so tall and almost intimidating. We were just blown away by the sheer size of this church. My favorite part was when an announcement came asking everyone to stop and pray. It was so touching.

Replacing earlier places of worship including a mosque and its collapsed predecessor, it certainly leaves a lasting impression.

Although with a façade that is relatively unadorned it is only in entering that the full Baroque takes hold of the senses. It is truly an astonishing sight.

Renowned sculptures are here, including the great San Cristóbal y el Niño by Juan Martínez Montañés.

Exquisite ornamentation is everywhere. A very powerful statement regarding the Catholic Church in relation to Protestantism and other faiths.

A remarkable creation of the human spirit it is testament to the endeavours of the Counter Reformation to impose its vision of Christianity.

Completed in and around 1730 it is luxurious in its Baroque exquisiteness. Marvellous altars and pieces excel in inspiring worshippers.

A private chapel used by the novices is an unrivalled masterpiece of the style.

A beautiful location with plenty of history to absorb. The architecture in interesting and the art works inside are equally impressive.

Sevilla is full of charm, but a short visit to the convent to buy their famous cookies is an absolute MUST. You approach the turntable, ring the bell. You will hear (BUT NEVER SEE) a nun respond. Say something like "Santa Maria Purisma" and then order whatever treats you'd like. The menu is on the wall. Simply put your money on the turntable and voila the cookies and your change will arrive! (The cookies aren't great, but that's not the point.)

If you’re wanting to pay respects to Spain’s most famous Old Master, you must visit this small but fine church where he was baptized in 1599. There is a plaque dedicated to the occasion. It’s easy to pop into and walk around if you’re nearby to visit the popular Metropol Parasol. The tiles are lovely and well-kept.

Located in the San Lorenzo area of Seville ,we had often walked by when it was not open but this time it was. The church is not that old but interesting inside and out.

It’s a dramatically impressive place of worship. Extending back to the 14th century and built on the site of a previous mosque, it has the attractive Gothic-Mudejar architectural design.

A gorgeous façade, a tower and two marvellous doorways in ornate carved stone all further impress.

If you walk around the Triana area, you should stop in to this church. Local people come and go as a part of their daily activities...It feels very authentic and not too many tourists.

Just beautiful. Really quiet with a square outside. The paintings inside are stunning and the feeling of calm quite beautiful.

With a provenance dating back to the mid 1200s it has been a fixture in the city for an impressive time. Albeit undergoing renovations and revamping in both the 16th and 18th centuries.

It is home to the Brotherhood of Candelaria that reveres Cristo de la Salud and the Virgen de la Candelaria.

The catholic church of Santa Cruz was built in the 18th century. From the olutide, the building looks a bit like a church in central of southern America.
You cannot miss th structure when stolling through the narrow streets of
    the Santa Cruz quarter.
    Entrance is free.

Not sure this is a destination, as, spoiler alert, there are a lot of nice churches in Seville. That said, a cool place, with some spectacular areas, and easy to visit for just the cost iof a donation.
Our food tour met at the front doors here, and we arrived early and checked it out. If in the area well worth it.
