Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located within Place du Québec, is this amazing art installation, (a gift from Canada to Paris) simulating, frozen ice plates on a river colliding.

We saw this whilst on a bus trip and I appreciated the fact there was books under the chair and he was holding a pen, thus you knew what his profession was without researching any further, but he was also a philosopher during revolutionary times.

During our self guided walking tour (8 weeks) of Paris, (due to the train strike), we got to see many different things and places (we seemed to have spent alot of time resting in gardens), that we would have missed using the metro.

Square laurent Prache, is a charming garden (dedicated to Laurent Prache (1856-1919), a French politician, known, for his anti-Masonic opinions, located under the shadow of Saint Germain des Prés church.

We stopped into this park/garden for a rest, noticing this very interesting bronze sculpture, as it turns out a “Picasso”, dedicated to his muse Henrietta Theodora Markovic, commonly known by the pseudonym Dora Maar.

That was the first word that came to mind the very first time we saw Carolina as we walked home down the Rue de Seine. We spent 2 months in Paris and were overwhelmed by the statues - everywhere / all the time, but Carolina was an all time fave and we stopped to look at her multiple times as we proceeded homewards. Everytime we saw her we marvelled at the expression and energy emanating from this bronze. My wife says she reminds her of her at a much younger age, especially since she knew everything at the ripe old age of 18. All we can say is thank heavens we never had children, specifically a daughter - because we fear that she would have turned out just as stroppy as Carolina looks in this bronze.
