What travellers are saying
- Away With Anna - Travel Blog13 contributionsBodbe Monastery is worth visiting for the beautiful religious structures on the grounds - inside and out - as well as the hillside panoramic view of the Caucasus Mountains in the distance.
Several nuns live here and grow their own spices and produce, some of which you can purchase in the shop outside the monastery. There are also some small coffee shops and cafes. Plenty of parking available.
Before entering the churches, women need to cover their hair, men need to remove hats, and pictures are not allowed inside.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Paul, the owner, told me on the phone that he was not available but if nobody could translate he was willing to explain everything on the phone. A very generous offer.
The wine tasting developed into a friendly party and our host assured us that he didn't mind staying much longer than one hour. We left after more than three hours.
I personally don't like Georgian wine made in the traditional way. But it was still an enjoyable experience and doesn't mean that the company produces bad wine. I just prefer the European method of making wine.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The history, the views, walking along something so old and important to the town. Also check out the inside of the watch towers! Very cool!
Free to access and explore.
The stone steps leading up and down the wall are not even. Some are very steep or have collapsed so you need to be wearing good footwear and watch where you are going.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The wines were all very tasty, and we liked the side snacks they brought us!Written 10 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bitterntravellerbittern530 contributionsEnjoyed a wander through this museum. Happened to be there when it was the Japanese doll exhibition which was unexpected but enjoyable. Located in an east place to access but the door was closed and was a bit tricky to find the entrance. Reasonable price for this museumWritten 11 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rafael-guide-israelTel Aviv District, Israel261 contributionsNo place can be more appropriate for such a romantic town than having in its center a Marriage Palace ! This shall immediately kill all the romance ! :)Written 3 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- A A1,024 contributionsThe monument is located on the bridge in the middle of the city. For some reasons reminds me Sancho Pansa…

- LolaGo1Washington DC, DC6,452 contributionsDuring our Group Tour, we passed by 2 statues. This one is memorable to me due to its size and location. Our Tour Guide did not say anything about this statue but I took several pictures here. He must be somebody important in Signaghi to have his statue here.Written 13 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VukojebinjeLondon, UK445 contributionsThe park is sprawling, unkempt in parts and at odds with the highly developed nature of the rest of Signagi. Nevertheless, it's naturally beautiful and makes for a nice walk that feels as if no one else is around for some way. The views over the surrounding valley are very impressive and though I wouldn't spend all afternoon in the park, it's worth seeing.Written 8 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
