After a short walk along a footpath from the road you arrive at the Laguna. There is a good hide from which you can look over the lake and also over to the mountains and the sea. The hide is elevated so you can see over the bamboo and vegitation and it was good to see that it was wheel accessible having ramps all the way up.

Birds birds birds

An excellent main viewing platform plus several other hides around the lagoon. Very easy access, and lots of birds. A pair of Marsh Harriers and the bold Black-winged stilts were a standout.

So much variety of birds - even in March

Really well located, just a pleasant, short (1 mile/1.5km?) walk from the centre of L'Ampolla along the sea front. Amazing to see so many different birds from the viewing platform (mirador) even in March before the season has really started. Well-made paths around the area and several hides.

A short walk to a nice lagoon

A nice 10 minute walk by the beach to see a lagoon where all sort of birds can be seen. You reach to a platform where you can overlook the lagoon.
