Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great stripey church which, when you look closer, is not the white and grey of many other churches in the region but is white and dark green, using the local serpentstone for the dark bands. Inside, the church is striking, with the ceiling citing atop striped, vaulted columns.

Pacefull place to discover. The church is really great, better outside than inside, but you should walk in the village and get this place and breath the peaceful.

A church well worth seeing, for both 18th century paintings, beautiful marble work and history. A high altar that has not been wrecked by Vatican 2.

We walked up to the church through the side streets of Levanto and discovered many interesting places on the way . The church is most unusual both inside and outside. The view of the town from the church encourages you to take many pictures .

A Beautiful little Church overlooking the town which began in 1222 and with several changes sits snugly today ! The combination of White Marble & Green Serpentine looks and works a treat and the bell tower can be seen all over Levanto.

Very beautiful use of the green(black) stone and white throughout the church. There's a particularly lovely modern sculpture of a local fisherman inside, plus all the usual traditional church art and architecture.

My wife and I were amazed at the level of embellishment, art, statuary and overall design for a church located in such a small village. Definitely worth the visit.

An early morning walk through the atmospheric streets of Levanto saw us arrive at Chiesa Di Andrea. One just walks into the cavernous church with huge old works of art adorning the walls. Nice to sit in the cool and appreciate one's surroundings. Full credit to the caretakers who allow free of charge access by the public and keep this church clean.
