Still not operating, which is a shame as it was useful.
Also very hard to find out the current status of the service as many websites still listing it as running.

Good bus but with no proper bus stop. So got to stand under the hot sun waiting. I took this from Chiang mai airport to old city

+Nice to be on this wifi equipped air conditioned bus in hot Thailand
+You can pay flat 20 baht and ride it end to end for a scenic tour.
+we used it to and from the airport and also to Nimmen from the old city
+the same Rabbit card I bought in Phuket to ride their smart bus was accepted on the RTC and it could also be used on the BTS in Bangkok.
-Bus stops are not very well marked and hard to see at night.
-Bus schedule is not very reliable. Waited over 40 minutes in the heat and traffic smog.
*Make sure the driver sees you tap to pay. Had a dispute once.
