About
Slovak national collection of wines is a little treasure hidden in historical Museum of viticulture. You can taste or buy 100 top slovakian wines in one place. We are very happy to meet people from the whole world, who have never heard of slovakian wines and are very surprised of its high quality. Slovakia is a country of white wines. We have a huge tradition in wine making and getting recognition worldwide - 84 medals from Paris, 32 medals from Brussels, the entire champion of the berry wine competition in New York and list goes on. But it is better to come and try yourself :)

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon! It was such a great experience. Peter, our sommelier, was outstanding. He selected four beautiful Slovak wines for us based on out personal preferences. He was "bang-on". Three out of four were perfect. The forth was possible.. though challenge when the other three were so wonderful! We left with some wine....and with a true understanding why 95% of the country's wine does not leave the country.

We highly recommend to anyone how likes wine to stop here!

Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I found this experience through a blog online and booked it for my sister and I before our trip to Bratislava, not knowing what to expect. We went in for 8 tastings and were the only ones there. The wine cellar is super charming and the sommelier was very knowledgeable! We decided to come back the next day for the 72 wines (they were in between changing out their wines so it was about 60 instead, which we were fine with) and it was great. Amazing wine and experience all around! We bought several bottles of wine, very reasonably priced. More people should enjoy this experience!!

It was raining outside so we popped into here! Great collection of wines. Paid €11 for 4 wines to taste. You get about 100ml of each and abreif introduction. Worth it!

€30 to taste 72 Slovakian wines in 100 minutes. We were met by Michaella a lovely lady who went through the various wines on offer in each of the six rooms.
As she set up the other rooms she asked us to start with the sparkling white wines and provided us with a jug of water and bread to cleanse our pallets.
I can't speak highly enough of Michaella, when we were about 30 minutes in she came over to talk to us about the wines and the various regions from were they come from. We informed her we were thinking of taking a trip out to Pezinok or Modra and she kindly gave us her number should we need any assistance on finding our way there.
Michaella left for the evening and wish us well for the rest of our trip.
We continued with the rest of our tastings and then we could see a gentleman collecting in the wines and then when the clock reached 100 minutes he informed us that our time was up.
This was very disappointing and we informed him that we had not yet tried any of the reds, he again informed us our time was up.
Whilst I can see it says 100 minutes, but there was nobody else in the cellar and we were not rowdy or had over indulged and the fact we had spent sometime chatting to the wonderful Michaella, it really was a disappointing end to what had been a superb afternoon.

I came here with my friends on a day trip from Vienna. Rated as one of the best things to do in the city we thought we'd give it a try and we enjoyed every minute. Amazing location in the caverns adds to the experience and Michaela was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we asked about the wines. Her passion for the wines shone through and added to our overall experience.
There are more whites than reds and rosé and we did the full 72 wine experience so, if reds are more your thing, maybe try a tailored tasting programme. We bought a few bottles of our favourites before we left but you're under no pressure or obligation to buy anything. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

We did the wine tasting of 8 samples and really enjoyed the experience. The woman who guided the tasting was really friendly and made it a very personal experience. She asked us what wines we liked and changed her original programme to our liking.

She didn't rush us at all and let us do the tasting at our own pace. Really happy we went there!

Fantastic wines. Allow 1.5 hours to taste 8 wines. They will not rush you. Very knowledgeable Sommeliers. In the cellar; 72 wines on display. Wines that are extraordinary, which you must buy to take home. Slovakia’s wines are not exported to the USA.

We stumbled upon a this place after doing a tour in apponyi house. Basically a huge wine cellar in a beautiful setting that offer wine tasting at incredible prices. Option to taste 72 wine in 100 mins for 32 euro. Obviously a taste not half a glass if you want to do them all - but it was self pour so you could do whatever you wanted really. What an experience and the woman we met who worked there was incredibly helpful and friendly. A definite thing to do in Bratislava if you love wine + option of cheese boards too

History of mankind cannot be full if you ignore one of the most attractive human pleasures. I mean wine, of course. Enter the museum and choose the path throughout vineyards of Slovakia tasting their best wine. My favourite is unoaked red and I liked the wine made in Mrva and Stanko winery. Cheers!

An amazing selection of Slovakian wine apparatus in the cellars of this chateau which belonged to the Palffy family in former days. There are some massive wooden casks and more!. An interesting self-tour through the cellars and then, of course, there is the opportunity to taste and buy their famous wines. The chateau can also be visited but only on a tour and there is the hotel on site as well.

Helo Serena but you have probably visited Zamok Simak in Pezinok, Slovak National collection of wines is in Apponnyi palace in Bratislava, offering guided wine tasting of 100 top slovak wines. The castle you visited is a different place , just to make it clear but you are more than welcomed in our Wine Salon in Apponnyi palace in Bratislava :)
