Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fees to enter this somewhat small museum were quite reasonable; staff was very pleasant in directing in the right directions. When we were there, the exhibit of the work of female sculptor Chana Orloff dominated the exhibits. Her work is quite interestingly influence by cubism and her life exhibited courage and creativity. Superb introduction to her work. Ending the tour, we visited the atelier of Ossip Zadkine, whose work is thematically and stylistically similar to Orloff's. Many examples of his wonderful sculptures on view. Certainly worth the visit and don't miss the sculpture garden at the end of your tour. Wonderful.

I checked the website for visiting times to ascertain it was open on Thursday 19 October 2023. Trekked across Paris to find out it was closed with a sign outside. Other disappointed visitors were also turned away by a technician who was rude and unhelpful. Why don’t museums keep their times updated on their websites? Laziness or poor management? I shall be phoning to check it is open in future before I waste my time.

A small museum housed in Zadkine and Prax's house/workshop. Well worth a visit if you need peace and quiet away from the busy museums. The sculptures are displayed beside photos, paintings and tools. The all white-and-wood decor of the inside combines beautifully with the artworks while the larger bronzes occupy the garden. Zadkine's work is beautiful, very sensitive and the museum is free. Very happy I saved some time to visit, will recommend to friends and family.

This small museum is tucked away near the southwest (Montparnasse) entrance to the Luxembourg Gardens. Composed of Zadkine’s house and atelier, in less than an hour you can see his beautifully crafted, challenging and varied sculptures. Using a number of different materials and done in abstract and varied styles, it’s a small gem of a place that will leave one stimulated and wanting to know more about the person and his life.

Zadkine was the man who made the sculpture from the man without his heart, symbolising Rotterdam after WW2. A replica is found in this museum. Nice garden with sculptures.A small museum but a must see for those interested in sculptures.

I have to admit I did not know about Ossip Zadkine. An artist friend told me that I must see his sculptures, so I did. I was moves to tears. Anlike Burdell's sculptures, I find Zadkine's work exquisite and the visit to his atelier and garden was very special to me.

This museum is very small. Zadkine sculpture are interesting but the exhibition on the forest is too strange for me
The price is too high = 8 euros for probably 30 min max of visit (3 rooms)
