Don't believe the website, far from four star hotel
We were going from the south of Spain to France and looked for a nice place to stay. Based on tripadvisor we went to Mas Mariassa hoping for a nice afternoon in the spa and massage ( based on what we saw on their website ). When we arrived we were a bit disappointed by the location ( very remote and isolated) and also by the facilities. Ordinary room and general state of the hotel a bit messy and far from four stars standards. When we asked where the spa was, they showed us an outside wooden cabin with a sauna and jacuzzi in open air while it was very cold outside.
Given the above we decided to leave because our expectations were not met at all. On top of that they charged us 60 eur for a massage we never had (we reserved it allright but it was low season and no other guests in the hotel).
In short the worst experience we had during our roundtrip in Spain. Our advice: don't go there but choose a better alternative ( quite easy in this case) for instance in Tarragona or else nearby.

First, thank you for the time spent writing your comments about our hotel. We inform you that as stated on our website, we are a small hotel, with only seven rooms in the countryside and surrounded by mountains.We are not next to large population and there our charm is. Also, on our website has photographs of our rooms, restaurant, swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and finish sauna.Our sauna and jacuzzi are in a relaxing little corner, completely different from traditional "spa" of large hotels. For the payment of the massages, you know that the hotel management did not charge any cancellation fee of the reservation that it was for that night but we will charge for the cancellation costs of massages which were reserved prior for you, starting at 17:00 that evening and we apply,also, a 30% discount from massage cost.This service is paid by the hotel. We are sorry, enormously, that the hotel has not fulfilled your expectations, we deeply regret.
