Interesting place to spending here 1-2 hours. Museum itself are average but nice collection of copies of Micelangelo sculptures. Also very interesting exhibition of modern Italian sculpture.

Visited Michelangelo's birthplace and museum towards the end of August and although it is remote was amazed at the lack of visitors. The museum is obviously geared up for crowds but there were none to be seen! Fascinating collection of casts from many of Michelangelo's sculptures together with modern sculpture exhibitions. Entry fee was modest and it really was possible to wander at leisure. if you want to get away from the heat at lower altitudes this is a good place to go. Downside was a lack of places to eat or drink which were open.
