Beautiful outside, nothing inside

I think I have summarized in the title everything
Beautiful and impressive walls on outside but nothing to be seen inside. Being a free entrance and if you are in the area than deserve a visit. Else I think does not worth it.

The outer walls are all there is to this castle . Once inside you can get a feel for how it was but no literature available to give you the history so check out on google first

A picturesque shell

The castle has a privileged position overlooking the river Tormes and the mediaeval bridge as well as having views of the nearby Gredos mountains. You can walk round the outside curtain walls which are in good repair and watch the nesting storks. This area is grassed and makes a pleasant (but brief) walk. If the castle is open (not a frequent event) there is nothing to see inside.

Excellent castle walls

A dreary provincial pueblo with interesting castle exterior walls. Allow one hour in this village no more. You would be driving of course.

Impressive castle

Though you can't get into the castle, its well-preserved exterior is a site to see. Perched high on a hill over the river, it's an impressive site.

there is a great wine shop with great selection and good price.
